Sparrowpaw could sence Dapplestars uneasynes feared for her. She knew she could survive alone but she couldnt help others survive unless they were a kit.

Lilly smelled the fox's approaching, but couldn't pin-pont a location.

Dapplestar cleared her mind and took a deep breath... She looked back at her friend, and licked her nose, thinking of the possibility of this being the last time she ever sees her.

Lillypool shed a single crystal tear, as she looked into the glowing eyes of her friend. "If we survive," Lillypool whispered. "I promise I'll make us all the most grand feather necklaces in all of the clans." She sat, now looking straight ahead.

Sparrowpaw began to realize she HAD expierensed this impatience before. She wanted to run. Run far away where the foxs werent. She crouched low he small bodie hardly the size of a small rock. ''If you cant run, hide.'' she found herself saying loudly what her mother had once told her.

Dapplestar Laughed at the Idea of her with a feather necklace, Dapple imagined a feather necklace, and running with the feathers flipping and fluttering everywhere, she giggled, then nodded to her friend, suddenly a pair of glinting eyes was staring right at her, Dapplestar jumped backwards, then skiddishly stepped forward...
