Fenrir wandered around aimlessly, his eyes glazed in a relaxed and subdued mist. Pausing, he stopped to nibble a swamp daisy that was growing at the base of a moss-ridden, gnarled oak tree. He paused and looked up, his ears lazily on either side of his head.

Niova slowly walked under the trees, keeping an eye for any low hanging branches that could possibly snag her by surprise. She was still a little worried at the stallion Cody but decided to move away since there were still a few females around. She slowed her pacing as she reached a tree she hadn't passed in a while. An oak tree which seemed to catch her eye and cause her to stop. One of her ears rotated as a sound came from near it, "Hello..?"

Snorting and then jolting his head upward suddenly, Fenrir's ears swiveled around to meet the noise, it spooked him from an apparently daydream like state. He stepped back a few steps into the oaktree, his fawn colored rump against the old wood. "Hello?" he echoed "Is somebody there?" he whinnied. "I'm Fenrir" he added, lifting his head high to see who had called.

Niova

Niova took a step back, surprised that someone actually responded. Her head lifted a bit before she neighed to the other kelpie, "My name is Niova." Her eyes fixed on the tree before she got a little curious and started to approach it, moving around it to finally see the mysterious kelpie. She flicked her tail just before she stopped, leaving a good few feet between her and Fenrir.

"Niova?" he replied "that is a beautiful name" he said with a courteous dip of his head. He looked around for the face that went with the name and spotted the kelpie as she emerged from the trees. "Wh-what brings you here?" he stammered, his head rushing as he nervously talked to the mare. He tried to smile and not let on how awkward he was, and walked forward a step.

The mare smiled and looked down as if shy, "Thank you. I like your name, it's interesting."she whinned. He looked a little nervous, like he didn't know what to say and it caused her to laugh a bit. "I'm just wandering now, felt I needed to get away. What are you doing here?" she questioned, watching him closely as he took a step towards her; she didn't want him to see that she was timid so she kept her ground.
