"Good to hear." Ilton again tilted his head back to look up at Zaura. "You know, maybe hiding behind her will actually get these two to get along. Oh, and yeah, I'm ready down here." Ilton's paw popped out next to his head, and he flashed a fuzzy thumbs-up, before pulling the paw back down and looking ahead.

She sent a mental message to Larzite, the purple dragon effortlessly padded to the large out door verandah build specifically for her use. Zaura felt her powerful muscles bunch up as she perched on the edge of the platform, her great wings partially extending. In one swift sweep Larzite pounced off the ledge, her wings filling with air and gripping for uplift. Zaura's stomach always lurched in the precious seconds before Larzite gained altitude, she was consciously aware of the struggle.
