Name of the Mutato: Sparky

Reason for Choosing the Name: According to the Bing Dictionary, a spark is "a small piece of a burning substance thrown off in combustion or produced in friction; a fiery particle." Since this is a dragon Mutato, I thought the name would be fitting.

My Favourite Fictional Dragon is Falcor, a luckdragon from "The Neverending Story."

Name of the Mutato? Oh her name is Thread.

The reason for choosing her name?
Well thread is what the dragons (and thier human riders) of Pern fight.
Protecting the people of Pern and thier holds.
Dragons of lore are usualy considered to be wise, firebreathing, hoarders of treasure;
but in this case she is the treasure,
and I'm sure will be cherished by whomever wins her favor.



*story*
On a dark thundery night Thread cuddled up nest to the fireplace in her mistresses home, watching the bright fire reflecting in her large crystal ball centered on the little table she brought guests too occasionaly. thread had no idea what was so special about the big glass ball or the picture cards that her mistress used but the other humans gave her shiny coins before thay left. Thread like to stack them and often slept with her mistresses coins and other shiny stones and gems. Her mistress was always pleased at how well Thread protected the shiny things, but constantly had to remind her to be careful around the soft fluffy things, wooden furniture, and well anything made of linnens.. was that the word misstress used? Thread hoped up onto the table the storms light was flickering into the ball now and she wondered where the cold fire had gone so peered closer only to see that her mistress was now showing in the glass ball! "mistress.. How did you get into there?" but her mistress did not answer and did not seem to be able to hear. Threads tail flickered as she pased infrunt of the funny ball. onw of the storms blue streaks flased down striking a tree near her mistress and Thread shriekd as a large oak crashed down pinning her mistress! Thread now realized that the funny glass ball was a way of seeing things and people who were not close to you and that her mistress needed he and flew out the window into the storm to find her hoping only that the kind woman would no longer care that Thread had scortched the tables cloth again with her flaming tail.


My favourite fictional dragon?
There are so many to chose from, and with no particular Pern dragon spinging to mind,
I would have to say well loved nightfury Toothless, from how to train your dragon.

If you don't watch Fairy Tail, you may not get the name at first, but I named this Mutato after Natsu the dragon slayer from fairy tail. Whenever I think of fire or dragons, I think of him, so I thought it would be the perfect name for him. c:

I think that Grassetto, meaning "Bold" in French would fit this little guy well. The scales on his design are bold, beautiful, and striking, making me think think of sparkling emeralds. Also when I think of dragons, I think of the bold collections of jewels and gold they have outside of their caves. When naming him, I thought of words I would use to describe dragons, and "bold" was one of them. I also have a love for French, so I thought that combining the two would make a magnificent name.

My favorite fictional dragon of all time would probably be Puff the Magic dragon. :3 It might sound silly, but I have heard the song a million times and have pretty much memorized it! It was also a book that I would read to my little sister quite often. :3

Reason for name
Feivel, as a name, is of Yiddish origin and means "brilliant one." I chose this name because it reflects my favourite dragon [Raxtus], who shines brilliantly in the dark. Also, I have been watching and stalking Mutatoes for a long time, and finally picking up the courage to try out is a brilliant feat on my part.

Raxtus is the fairy dragon from The Fablehaven Series by Brandon Mull- unlike many dragons, he's small, sweet, caring. He can turn invisible, and ate the demon prince Navarog. He is a shining silver dragon, who radiates brilliant light.
This sweet little dragon is my favourite because of how... different he is- he's shy and bashful, yet he was fierce enough to eat one of the most evil demons one could come across. He's special, and important, without anyone really knowing it.
