Kross noticed the princess come in for her horse and another's, when an idea popped into his head. He turned Chance to face out of the stables and they cantered out to the open fields to practice the dressage Kross was teaching him. Chance's legs lifted with the greatest grace and elegance of a genuine dressage professional.

"Cecidit. It means Fallen" I replied. He nickered from the stall across from Mystic. "He's right over here." I pointed him out to Ravyn, who actually knew about horses. It was great to have a friend like her.

Ravyn Knightly Ravyn nodded in thanks when the stablehands had saddled up their horses. "He's beautiful." She said nodding to the spotted white horse as she mounted hers. "I know these tracks like the back of my hand, I spend most of my life on them so we shouldn't get lost." She smiled jokingly.

I mounted Cecidit and walked him alongside Mystic and Ravyn. "This'll be fun." I told her. A prince was riding dressage out in front of the stable, making his horse do extreme dancing manuvers. "Look," I said to Ravyn, pointing him out. "I much prefer fox hunting."

((I am a horse jumper on real life, so excuse me if my opinion on dressage is biased. I feel like it's painful for the horses, you know?))

Ravyn Knightly "Yes me too, I just prefer riding for fun, bonding with the horse. If I asked my parents if I could do other things with Mystic they would probably explode, they are unhappy with the amount of time I spend riding." She smiled looking up at the castle, she saw the window to her parents room and looked away. They would be happy she is finally making friends but not so happy that she was riding again.

A darker, mousy brown that ripples down in messy waves over and a little ways past my shoulders. I usually wear it down, but when I'm working I pull it up into a loose bun to keep it from getting muddy.
My eyes are...
Hazel, and seem to change between brown and deep green depending on the season.
My skin is...
Very pale, despite the fact that I spend most of my days outdoors in the sun.
My height and build is...
I've got a decent build, not skinny like the girls in the upper classes, since I need the muscle to help work the farm, but I'm certainly not chubby, and I' about 5'8, give or take an inch.
My all over description is...
Overall, I would say that I'm not too bad looking for a commoner from a farming family. I may not have the time to powder my nose or the money for nice clothing, but I make do with what I have, and I wouldn't call my attire a slob. I've only cleaned up nice and pretty once for the last masquerade, and I loved every moment of it.


I am...
I would say I'm a pretty down to earth girl by necessity. I understand what the hard life's like, though I'm not that bad off. I am generally nice, though can occasionally get upset or angry, which makes my behavior curt and snippy. But so long as you're a nice person and aren't biased enough to completely ignore me, there's a very good chance that I'll be a nice person to be around.
My past is like...
I was born into the world as a commoner on a farm worked by my loving parents, Cylia and Mark McCormick. They gave me all the opportunities they possibly could, and my mother even set aside a small amount of money for me every birthday, so that when I turned 16 I could buy myself a decent, deep purple dress with white lacing and a matching mask so that I could start going to the masquerades, and I couldn't love her more for it. But before then I worked, and still work, the fields and crops with my dad when he really needs the help, but my usual job is to take care of the barnyard animals and to take the crops to market whenever we had enough to fill a cart. Those days I would take my favorite horse, Storm, and hook her up to the family wagon, and go sit in the square with the other marketers selling corn and apples that I sometimes helped pick myself. Sure, it would've been wonderful to have a more luxurious childhood, but overall, I'm pretty ok with how it was and how it will be.
The place I call home is...
I live in a small house with my mother and father on 15 acres of farm property. The house is a 2 bedroom with simple rooms and décor, and a nicely sized kitchen for mom, while the fields are split into two; one for corn crops and the other for the apple orchard.


My secret love is...
Nobody, really. I haven't had too much pleasure in being able to meet others and have enough time to get to know them.

Chance went into an extended trot and then switched to a beautiful piaffe, pulling off the moves with grace and little to no commands from Kross. Out of the corner of his eye Kross noticed Ravyen and Tera.
