I immediately straightened myself up, as I had been given permission to be a little less formal. "River's a nice dog. Much like my sister's pup, Selene." It was true, Selene was almost an exact copy. Nervously, I flattened out the rumples in my dress to keep my hands busy.

Ravyn Knightly[size=85] She nodded interested. "She is mix labrador and sheepdog, my parents didn't really want me to get a farmdog but this was the closest I could get to one. I love sheepdogs, they are beautiful and loyal." She said as River ran over to her almost as if telling her about Tera who was standing in front of her and she hadn't seen. "Puppies." She said rolling her eyes.

"I've always been more of a horse person. I ride all the time, even though it drives my mother insane." At the thought of Mother, I turned and looked to our room. Sure enough, she was standing there watching Ravyn and I; no doubt planning how to use my acquaintance to her every advantage.

Ravyn Knightly She nodded. "Yes I have a horse too, would you like to go for a ride. I could show you the riding paths. If we leave the castle we will have to have guards but all these paths are in the castle grounds. You see those trees over there? Well they are part of the riding paths." She explained about the forest that have been change years ago to have less trees but pathways and bridges so you could ride there.

Kross left his articles in his room with his servant, "I'm going out for a bit," He told the servant. He changed into his smart riding clothes and headed for the stables to find Chance. When he arrived, he noted the large, luxurious barn with several fine stallions and mares inside. After being directed by a stablehand he found his faithful horse Chance. He took out a lovely rich brown saddle with a large gem nestled on the pommel. He slipped it onto Chance's back and slipped the bridle on (which was equally as beautiful as the saddle). He then mounted and decided to go out and explore the grounds.

"That would be wonderful!" I exclaimed. I had brought my gelding, Cecidit, with me this year in case I got the chance to ride. It seems that my hope was going to become a reality. Another glance to my window showed that Mother had left. That was probably bad news if she was heading out here. "Let's do that," I said, suddenly anxious to go before Mother made a mess of herself.

Kida glanced around the large room she had just entered. There seemed to be a good amount of people here, some even with their pets. Of course, she had brought her pet, but it was still slightly surprising. Already disliking the atmosphere of the room she was in, she made her way over to a nearby window, whistling for Ali, her dog, to follow. She stood against the wall, staring out the window, hoping she wouldn't have to stand there the entire time.

Ravyn Knightly "Good, I ride all the time. The only bad thing about riding is side saddle, why can't we ride astride like boys? It's so uncomfortable and slow riding side saddle." She said leading the way to the stable trying not to trip over River who was running around their feet.

"I know! Mother says it's unbecoming... My fathers lets me ride as a fox hunter back on the country side." I was glad to find that someone else, no less a princess, felt the same way as her about riding. "My horse is in your stables, I think."

Ravyn Knightly "Good." I said as I led the way into the stables. "This is Mystic." I said going to the first stall with my beautiful white mare in it. A stable hand comes up and asks which horses I would like saddled. "Mystic and..?" I looked at Tera, which horse was hers?
