He grabbed her scruff as she fell, he flipped over her and let go of her scruff. Falling past her and now clinging to a root that started to snap. He used his head to push on Amberstones back legs, "Climb!" he mewed through gritted teeth. His eyes closed and ears back, trying not to notice the root that was snapping.

Hauling herself back onto the ledge before plopping down on the stony piece of rock, looking to Featherstone, "You ok?" She asked, crawling over to him.

Amberstone screeched, and lunged to put her jaws onto her mate's scruff, and started helping to tug him up from the dangerously long fall.
