Aspenwillow woke slowly, her blue eyes blinking sleepily. At first, she didn't remember where she was. She could feel warm fur pressed beside her, but assumed it was one of her siblings. Then she scented the musty log, and recognized Ebonyheart's scent as well. Memories of the storm flooded her mind like the rainwater the dampened her pelt. She didn't move, not wanting to wake the tom, but she stiffened, wondering what the Clan would say about she and Ebonyheart being gone all night.

Ebonyheart woke with a jolt jumping out of the log and hollering. "Ow!" he hollered as a yellow jacket flew away out of his pelt. His tail was down and the dang thing bit him right in his thigh. "Rat!" he hollered at the bug not realizing where he was thinking he was in the camp but when actually he just woke from the best night of his life.

Aspenwillow jumped as Ebonyheart dashed out of the log. She yowled to get his attention as he sprang about the forest. "Ebonyheart! Relax, you've been stung, calm down." She padded forward, trying to hide her amusement. She was worried, but she knew one sting wouldn't kill the tom. Sitting down patiently, she groomed her calico pelt until it was sleek and dry. She waited until he calmed down and licked his ear. "Come on mouse-brain let's go back to camp."

Silverwing raked a claw across It's ugly face and launched herself biting into it's neck. Worry for Banditwhisker fueling her on. She growled her tail lashing wildly. Her pupils large and her ears pinned to her head.
