I have a few good JMD design ideas that I think would look good, here's 2 though. Any artist could use them and I would be so very happy if they did.

1.)
A base of an orange-ish red, a crème colored mane and wings, but the boney part on the wings would be the same color as the base. There would be a light peach color for the under belly, with some swirl designs with it. The markings would have a slight gradient to them, but start out a deeper color of the base, and fade into a darker color than that. The jewel color could be anything, but a orange or purple jewel would most likely be the best for it, if it looks good with the design, of course.

2.)
The base would be a medium brown, but you can make it richer or duller brown, and have lighter spots of brown on its paws, nose, ears, and tail. Its tail would have tight lines on it, preferably a darker brown, or gray, that slowly loosen up until it reaches the hindquarters. Its paws would have the same design as the tail, but using a lighter, peachy color would make it stand out more. the chest would have the same color as the stripes on the back paws, but it a way that makes it look like big dragon scales on the chest. The mane and wings would be the darker color stripes as the tail, and have the peachy colored spots in the design.

Sorry for the long and crazy suggestions, its just that I have some really good JMD design ideas (And I will run for GA when Saturday comes, hopefully)and need to get them out. Any artist that would (hopefully) like to do it can add their own touch to it, because this is only a suggestion. Enough talking, I will return to my stalking of this thread, silently.
