Welp, this pony actually has taken almost a year to complete. He's a gift for my friend irl, who as of fall last year started working with me to try to design a ponysona. Needless to see, the road didn't exactly go so smoothly. We hit a lot of bumps at every turn, and it's only as of yesterday that we finally picked a mane and tail style that worked. Colors have also been a problem, but I'm really happy with how the palette came out. His talent has to do with cats, and the cutie mark is actually the word "cats" written in circular gallifreyian. After all this time I suppose the effort was worth it, and it's so nice to be done.
