"The" Rares List Guide - Do not ask about new UR's!

Well as far as gaps go it's just going to be when Komi gets the time to really solidify everything. And as far as I know the new URs tend to be added towards the end of the year/the next rerelease when an entire year's worth of data can be gathered and demand has had a chance to drop. :)

I don't agree with an OMGSR sitting on the September list, especially when such unpopular ones as UR Banana and UR Cucumber sit above the big gap. It feels like we have different rules for different pets - that's not ok.

Changing its position purely because it went a tier up in rarity doesnt seem right to me. The demand will probably spike for a bit and we can consider a move then..if we move it now based on rarity alone; people will assume that everything will move when it only changes rarity.

The rat will most likely fall down to very rare in 4 months again, so moving it up now right away wouldnt be right imo. We need to recheck its value on the trading boards and let demand settle before moving..

If it moves because it was placed incorrectly to begin with (this would affect the other rats; the fact an Aug 08 rat has gone OMGSR indicates the other July and Aug rats are well on their way there) then I don't see the problem. If it sat at the bottom of the main list I'd have no issue but since it's in the middle of the Sept list, it seems an odd place for such an incredibly rare pet.

And how will we check the trade boards? I haven't seen a Dark Heart rat in months. Tbh I haven't seen one in years, but I haven't gone looking for one as I adopted one in 08 so do take that statement with a grain of salt. If you do a forum search for "Dark Heart Rat" though, all you get is people copying the rares list, I can't find any trade info about them at all. Also, even though it's supposed to be a guide that reflects trade values, the Rares List is very much a guide that sets trade values for a lot of people, so unless people explicitly react to its OMGSR tag, they are going to check the list and trade it at its listed value whatever that may be - I think this is the only reason the Banana & Cucumber sometimes pull their listed values.

I got my Cucumber for around Non value earlier this year, and my Banana for art from a user who offered it instead when I asked for a Black Advent. Those pets are very low demand; if they are up that high because of their tag, then why shouldn't other OMGSRs be high up the list too? It just confuses me that one low demand high rarity pet is worth hundreds of times more than another low demand high rarity pet. I know there's a significant rarity gap between them, but I really doubt it's that much. It just doesn't add up for me?
