Dragon Delights { the JMD cafe }

Chrono took a quick swig of his tea, almost dripping some on himself.
Woah, someone other than Divine complimented him. Milestones everywhere in this conversation.
But how to continue it?
"So...doing anything interesting? Me, I was probably gonna just marathon TV again, since this was the only thing I really planned today..."

"Interesting?" she echoed his words as she replaced her coke on its coaster.
Reika cuffed her chin gently in her hand, taking a moment to think of the
things she planned to do today. Nothing. Remembering an event from a recent
party she went to, she answered, "I think I might make some stuff from coke
cans, but no, not really."

[Nutheart]

"Making stuff out of cans sounds pretty cool," Chrono murmured, eating his last cookie. "Better than sitting and having a TV marathon, anyway," he said with a small chuckle. Long pause. Friends did stuff together, right?
"Hm...maybe we could do something later?" he asked, before realizing his cookies were done for. "Be right back- I gotta get more cookies!" He got up to go get his new plate of cookies, blissfully unaware of whatever awkwardness he just caused.

She nodded, then acknowledged the strange moment of silence.
Seeing Chrono had run off to fetch more cookies, Reika simply
shrugged, throwing away her old can and taking the new one
out. She sipped her coke gleefully, waiting for Chrono to return
in silence.

Chrono returned with a full plate, promptly going through a going-to-ask-if-she-wants-some-but-then-I-remembered-she-doesn't-like-them moment. "Was that a yes, then?" he asked eagerly, having seen her nod in the corner of his eye. He hoped it was, because he felt kind of pathetic sitting in front of the tube all day when Divine was planning parties and, oh, getting married.

"Mhm." she answered with a grin, catching the excitement from Chrono.

Chrono felt happy after that.
"Ok...good! So, uh...what do you want to do? I'm drawing a blank..."
He stuffed another cookie in his mouth, feeling like he blew it.

Reika fell into concentration mode once more; what to do, what to do.

"Oh, oh! We could watch that show you were marathoning
earlier, or maybe pull some pranks on the good-natured folk here."
Devious thoughts ran through her mindset, but she pushed them away for another
time. "Or we could just keep talking." she shrugged.

It was a normal day as Ayren walked down the street.
Today he didn't feel like sitting at home so he choose to go out for a bit.
As he walked down the thread, his eyes scanned over the stores he passed.
He searched for a special place, which he heard about from others conversations. He never was there himself, but it seemed like a nice place to waste the time.
Finally, he caught sight of his destination.
"Dragon Delights", a cafe known for it's pleasant atmosphere and delicious menu.
He pushed the door open, a soft jingle wafting into the air, announcing his arrival.
His eyes took in his surroundings.
'A really lovely place...just like they said.'
He only spotted a few other dragons inside, which was just fine for him.
Without saying anything, he made his way to the table in the farthest corner, not by a window.
He would feel most comfortable if he felt himself being invisible to others, showing his unapproachable side.

Ayren sat down, butting his bag beside him and making himself comfortable. When he settled into the seat he rummaged through his bag, searching for something. As his paw came in contact with the slender case, he pulled it out and opened it. His reading glasses that resided inside became visible to the world.
Ayren pulled them out and put them on, closing the case and putting it back into the bag.
After that he pulled out his Ipod and stuck the ear-plugs connected to it into his ears.
He choose a Playlist he wanted to listen to now and put the Ipod into the bag again.
Then he took out a newspaper and began reading though it.

Sirilia began to sketch some new plushie designs, and ordered flan, and some fruit punch. As she ate her flan, she thought about all the new friends she will meet.
