Lauren kept a hold on his wrist, leading them quickly away from the people. "Bad idea," she mumbled under her breath. She eventually spotted a gift shop that looked like a beach house more than anything. "Do you want to go in?" she asked him, trying to forget everything that had happened in the last few minutes.

"Sure." Ed nodded. He walked towards it wearily.

Lauren let go of him finally, walking into the shop. "Don't worry about it, okay?" she told him, looking into his eyes before turning back around, looking throughout the store.

"Okay." Ed said, following her, looking at stuff on the different shelves.

Lauren sighed, walking around. She picked up a small anklet that was made of rope and a few shells. She carried it around, looking to see if there was anything else she wanted. She felt awkward around Ed, now, not knowing what to do or say around him.

Ed looked at some stuff but decided not to get anything, he looked at Lauren. "I'm sorry I snapped at tem guys, but I can't stand people who get drunk in public, especially at the beach." He said in a calm soft voice.



{Lol, you weren't keeping me up, the thought of having coffee was, and I didn't get anythough, fell asleep right as my dad started making it.}

Lauren turned around, noticing that he was empty handed. "It's okay," she told him in an easy tone. She but her lip. "Honestly, I'm glad that you said something. If you didn't, I would've." She walked to the counter, placing the anklet down and pulling her wallet out. "Let's do something that you wanna do," she told him. "I know you don't like shopping."

Ed smiled. "I'll do whatever, it's your choice." He insisted.

She paid for the jewelry, then walked outside with him. She slipped it in her wallet, making a mental note to put it on later. "Well, let's see," she said. "Do you know what time it is? I left my phone in my car."

Ed thought. "It's right about two o' clock." He said, looking at the sand.
