I, Am Katzbalger.

Current Season: Summer.

The Story.

A deadly virus that deteriorates the brain is wiping out the city. Armed with enhanced stamina, uncontrollable rage, and insanity, an infected canine turns against its captors and flees to the streets. Left to his own agenda, Katzbalger spreads the infection and builds up a pack bent upon slaughtering humans and 'impure' dogs alike for the sake of "evolution." A small group of street dogs have banded together in a struggle for survival, and those few with a natural immunity to the virus stand as the only defense against devastation. Will you Join us, the INFECTED against the immune, or die with them?

How and why was the virus created?
It was created by some back-alley 'doctors' and experimenters who were creating diseases just so that they could come up with cures for them. They did the experimenting on strays and any other animals they could get from the local pound, and purposefully gave them rabies and the like.

Can humans become infected by the virus?
In short, no. If a human is bitten by an Infected dog, they will experience seizures, hallucinations, and the like until they eventually die. The virus is a lot like rabies when it comes to infecting people.

Why do some dogs have collars if they are strays?
If your character has a collar, It has to have been recently owned by humans.

What does this.. Virus do exactly?..
Tongue, gum, and eye discoloration, brain deterioration, and a false sense of immortality (due to deterioration of the brain). That just means they aren't able to feel pain as severely, and it makes them believe they are getting stronger when they are actually dying. That's why when you tear one of their legs off in battle and they don't go down, they're just crazy, not invincible.

Your animal characters can still mate, as long as neither of them are reluctant or forced into it, and you shouldn't go into detail about the mating process as this is a family website. Please black your characters out during this, AKA, 'Time skip'. This also counts if your pregnancy was a failure, black out during the birth.


Please keep swearing to a minimum. Example, Only use 'Hell'. Do not overdo this, as more MIGHT be added.

Do not kill/attack another players dog unless you have discussed over PM with them AND ME about it.

Be careful with a ton of gore and very violent, bloody, graphic deaths of your character or others. Try not to. Example, giving very detailed deaths of your character puking blood and violent details of guts of your victims are not allowed.

The pregnant have all rights, You may NOT backtalk or disrespect them. Or punishment follows. They are delivering us more pack members and will be catered to while they are in their pregnancies and nursing times. These are not always successful do to stress, but that's why we cater to them, so the pregnancy is more likely successful. Respect no matter the attitude.

The hunters kill as much as they can. The more food we get, the less that those Immune mutts do.

The elders are very respected also. We may be infected, but our own are needed and kept. Elders took their share of punishment and their share of work. You can respect their any wishes, because you'll be an elder, if you make it to one.

Do not challenge Katzbalger. If you do, be prepared for a whole pack defending their leader. Respect and be respected. Disrespect and be disrespected on certain situations. Katzbalger is the leader. He knows what he is doing, and is the one that the members go to for guidance.

Harm the children, and punishment will follow. These children are our future and are needed strong and unharmed due to the fact they were born from infecteds and will be quiet weak at childhood. They will get stronger as time goes on, if they make it.

He was the first carrier of the virus, which was forced onto him by researchers looking to find a cure for rabies and other diseases.

Your strays History: Her father is thought to be wolf but no one truly knows. She was the runt of her litter. No one wanted her. Her mother tried to kill her but was unsuccessful. So she was raised by hateful mother who loved others more than her. When she was a teen, she ran from her mother. Her life was horrible on the street. Not to mention the humans that always captured her. Then she found Katzbalger. After she met him, she let him infect her without struggle. She has been loyal to him ever since.

Your strays History: Spirit has a reputation for being one of the prettiest husky breeds. She will smile while she rips you apart. She found Katzbalger around the time she found out she was with pups. She is due any day now but carries on as though she is just a regular dog without pups.
