You live in the Kingdom of Rhomma, in the capital city of Ellis. You are either a noble or a commoner. There's something different about this kingdom, people have powers, there are dragons and phoenixes, griffons and unicorns. The kingdom has been in peace for many years now, ever since the current king became king. King Jonathan and his queen Titania have a daughter Princess Ravyn is at the age to marry. Each year the kingdom has a Masquerade Ball where the commoners and nobles can mix without knowing who is who and what ranks is who. It is held in the castles large ball room, big enough to fit anyone that wants to come. This year it is different but only slightly, this year every young man knows it is the time to charm the princess as she is at the age to marry, but how do they know if they are dancing with her? Exactly, they don't they could be dancing with any beautiful young lady and they could fall in love with her before they realise who she is.

It is such a big thing even royals, nobles and commoners are coming from other kingdoms and staying at the royal castle to come. People are coming from the furthest corners of the kingdoms and somehow everyone manages to scavenge up enough money to by the necessary mask and dress or suit.

Nights and weeks pass as the morning of the ball day dawns. Excitement is in the air but danger is hidden in every corner just as much as romance is. Many think it is dangerous having so many people from different kingdoms in the same place, many are scared that they will spy or begin a war somehow with their currently peaceful country.

1. Follow all of Tess's and Nick's rules all the time even if I don't state them here, they were set for a reason.
2. This is a semi-lit roleplay so I expect 4 lines or more, proper grammar, spelling and punctuation. I realise that different countries spell things differently eg. colour and color but I will be able to know if you are spelling right or not. Writers block is an occasional excuse but not all the time.
3. You can make your own form or use mine, whichever you chose but if you make your own have the things I have on mine on yours. Also I would like real life pictures, I have nothing against anime but it is harder to visualize them when role playing. I would like semi-lit forms and pretty forms too.
4. When posting please have a header stating your characters name, age, gender and rank or something like that. Also do smaller fonts or change the font colour, something to make it pretty but still readable.
5. At the ball (or more, since there might be more) everyone wears a mask at all times, hence the name masquerade (masque is another form of mask) and no one knows who the other is unless (very rarely) the choose to tell their identity.
6. Royals and nobles don't usually mix with commoners except at the ball when they have no idea who anyone is. In normal life (not at the ball) they might occasionally mix but not much.
7. I am expecting most characters to range from the age of 16-23 at the most, yes you can temporarily play older characters such as their parents but not so much you need a form, just when they are say going home or something.
8. One power per person only and not everyone has to have a power.
9. Please try to keep genders and ranks even. I don't want you to have 5 female nobles, even everything out. Also as many characters you can handle.
10. Use common sense, if it goes past a kiss on the hand or cheek, fade to black, sorry there are kids on this site. Also if you have to cuss star out every letter but the first, eg. s***.
11. No powers that are god modding or power playing, also no god modding or power playing, no Gary/Mary Sue's. Also when you are at the ball all the boys can't go to one girl or vise versa, that wouldn't usually happen.
12. Royals and Nobles won't be able to ran away and pretend to be commoners, there are guards everywhere, be realistic. Also it is medieval times so no guns or cars.
13. No being your own crush or anything like that.

To control and manipulate metal, that also makes me be able to move metal and bend metal at my will. I am sometimes magnetic when I want to be and I can bend metal with the slightest touch, that means I can also open locked doors at my will. I am getting better and doing all this mentally instead of physically.

A beautiful long thick wavy brown and reaches to the bottom of my rib cages. I usually wear it braided back but my mother makes me have it done for a ball or something like meeting suitors.

So I have long, wavy brown hair with streaks of gold through it that I usually wear braided except when I am forced not to by my mother. When it is out it reaches to the bottom of my rib cages, that is when it has not been forced straight by a lady in waiting. My eyes are dark brown and almond shaped. Some people say they look like death when I am angry. My skin is pale like all respectable people should be because tanned means that you work in the fields. I am slender and graceful at the height of 5.6ft tall. I am always forced to wear dresses which I hate but I prefer my riding dress out of them all so I wear that whenever I can.

Tomboy: I am a definite tomboy, I will not ever do anything girly and is often, as a joke, called a boy just because of the things I do. I don't care about what people think about my looks, I don't care about prettiness or beauty. I am a feminist but there's not much a female like me can do about it. I can't show this side to anybody, I have tried once but it didn't work well so I feel I can only be comfortable being myself by myself which is hardly ever since I either have maids, servants, other nobles/royals or guards.

Confident: I am confident, never scared or stepping down just because of what people say. I have good confidence, no I am not cocky I am just proud of who I am, no not that proud, I don't walk around saying I am the best. I am the type of confidant that won't let people look down on me or say bad things about me just because they want to.

Clever: People tell me I am quite clever and that I am smart for my age. Then again I did always do well on my tests at school but they also tell me that's not all of it at that I am a quick thinker. I do get out of trouble a lot by thinking up excuses quickly and I always know what to do in a crisis but that's not the same as being clever, is it?

Anti-bully: I am very anti-bully. I hate the people that think they are better that than everyone else and then pick on people for fu. Even if I don't know someone and I see them being bullied I will go over and help, as I have been told, the bystander is the most important person in bullying, they are the person that has the power to stop it, and I do try to stop it. I can't stand the sight of bullies, they are cruel and inhumane.

Untrusting: I don't trust very easily since what happened the last time I trusted someone. At first I don't really talk to strangers since that day but I will listen to them. It takes awhile for me to warm up to people and actually talk to someone that I don't really know. When I get to know them I will talk to them but I will not trust them. Once I really get to know them I will warm up to them bit by bit but it takes a while, sometimes that is a good thing sometimes it's not so good.
