Promise's nose twitched as the scent of another wolf and she soon stood, she was always edgy around new wolves as smelling them but not seeing them was her main issue. She followed the wolfs scent and quickly found the bright pelted female as her fur didn't seem to blend in well. "Hello." she greeted the female with a simple flick of her tail.

"Are you sure?" Skades inched a bit closer. "You know you can talk to me, Septimus.."

Skades flinched back, narrowing her eyes and flattening her ears. 'So he can talk all he wants to Promise, but I can't say a word to him without him getting upset..?' She thought sourly. Without a word she turned away, stalking off into the forest with tears welling in her eyes.

Calvin watched as Skades soon ran out into the forest, a distressed look on her face as he heard the alpha snap at her. Her quickly stood and ran after the female. "Skades?" he asked, his voice full of concern.

Promise's expression quickly changed at the female growled at her, her ears flicked back and she returned the growl. "You know it would be nice to get a hello back." she said sternly as her eyes narrowed and she watched the female closely.

Skades bit back a growl, opening her mouth to yell at him, but she quickly closed it, forcing herself to stay quiet. 'It's not his fault..' She reminded herself quietly; unlike Septimus, she had control. "What is it, Calvin?" The fae forced her voice to remain strong and steady, although she wouldn't turn to look at him.

Fable sat up suddenly, sniffing the air. "Do you smell that..?" He tilted his head. "There's a new scent on the wind.."

"Are you ok?" Calvin asked but he hesitated this time in asking her, wondering what had some how set the alpha off.

Promise's tail lashed, the growl in her throat raising. "Why are you here then?" she asked sharply. Ears laid flat on her head angrily as she only glared harshly at her with her hackles raised.

"I'm fine.." Skades stared down at the ground, trying to take her mind off of the little scene she had caused. "Calvin... have you ever thought of leaving here?"

Calvin's eyes widened a bit at Skades question,"You aren't thinking of leaving here are you?" he asked as he now turned and sat infront of her. Bending his head down to attempt to look at her face, his bright yellow eyes where full of worry and care. He wasn't meaning to bother her but he was concerned as that was just his own nature.

Promise's anger was quickly boiling inside of her. "I know I don't own the world. I could careless if I did or not but you seem to be trespassing on pack grounds." she snarled, holding her ground.

Skadi's expression hardened. "I don't belong here.." There was pain in her voice as she backed away slightly. "I never did.. My brothers both found their places perfectly, found love.." She sighed. "But me? Face it Calvin I stick out here like a sore thumb.."

"You stick out but in a good way. A way that makes you unique from the rest." Calvin smiled softly. "If Septimus didn't believe that you belonged here then he wouldn't have made you beta female. You belong here just like the rest of us." he gave her a comforting nuzzle.

Promise krept closer to the female, her temper was quickly boiling over and at this point the female just seemed to be asking for it. "Look I don't even know what it was I said that tipped you off with the little hissy-fit your having here but maybe it would just be best for you to leave if this is not what your looking for." she snarled once more.
