Dragon Delights { the JMD cafe }

Ara walked into the cafe with a smile on her face. She looked around, curious to see who was there. She noticed Divine and some other dragons, but decided to ignore them. Ara didn't feel like talking to any of them, oddly enough. She felt like she should meet someone new. She thought about when she met Paradise, it was at the cafe and she comforted the green jeweled dragon. The memory made Ara's smile even brighter, for that was the start of a friendship. Ara cherished her friends seeing as she has very few when when she lived in England.

Genevieve took a few steps into the cafe, wearing her normal attire. Nothing fancy, just a normal pair of brown pants, and a sweater and scarf, no matter what time of year it was, she always dressed up as if for winter since summer was horrible in her eyes.
She had needed a break ever since the kids, they were always fighting it seemed, though she would admit Joyce was a bit nicer in the not constantly showing off game. Looking around she saw a few people, some purple dragons with fancy wings, and a few others, nobody she knew. Genevieve also saw a blue jewel, silvery with dark blue stripes. Go and say hello - her mind coaxed as Genevieve walked over, deciding it was about time she actually made friends.
"Hello" she said, sticking out her hand for a shake.

Ara Selene Fallon

Ara looked at the red jeweled dragon, "Hello, I am Lady Ara Selene Fallon." she said with a polite smile as she shook the other dragoness's hand. She had a nervous look on her face for a moment after she realized she has said 'Lady' when introducing herself. It was something she was taught to do as a child, but she had tried to grow out of it since she came to America. It didn't happen many times, but Ara wasn't the most social dragon either.

Genevieve shook her hand, almost giving a slightly disdainful sniff. "Lady" it bugged her, she wasn't sure why, but somehow, it just bugged her, as if one was reminding her that they were rich of of high statues. "I'm Genevieve." she said, not using her last name, or even her doctor status. It wasn't as if they would know or care anyways. Taking a breath and more or less calming herself, she gave a smile.
"Nice to meet you Lady Ara. Mind if I join you?"

Ara Seleme Fallon

Ara smiled nervously, "I don't mind at all, but please, just call me Ara. I try not to go by Lady here... for personal reasons." changing the subject, Ara decided to turn the focus onto Genevieve. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Genevieve. Your name is quite beautiful."

Genevieve looked a little confused for a moment. But digging into family roots was nothing she was interested in doing, they always ended up with somebody getting hurt or bringing up bad memories.
"Whatever you wish. But likewise, and thank you. I would say you name is form some study I did in university. Some name of something revolved around rain in that language anyways. Didn't listen much, always been much more interested in anatomy." Genevieve said, sitting down at one of the chairs, being honest about her interest. She had always been a doctor and the body was much more interesting to mythology to her.

Ara sat next to(or across from, depending on the kind of table/counter they are at) Genevieve. She smiled when the older dragoness mentioned studies at a university. "Anatomy, is that so? I know a few dragons with anatomical anomalies about them." she said as she thought about Herron of her closest friends, and the father of one of them. Ara then wondered what it would have been like to have gone to a university. She had a collage education by the time she made it to America, and she was still quite young, but that was only because of her devotion to studying and impressing her family. She never had the social element of a university or the chance to experience working with strangers who would later become friends.

"Yes, anatomy was what I majored in. I'm not a doctor anymore, well, I was more of a coroner actually but nothing interesting. At least unless you want to learn about dead bodies." Genevieve said, waving her dismissively at her young adult years. All of which ended up being a waste in the long run of things. After she had killed somebody, she quickly resigned from her job, and lived off her family's inheritance. Though turning her attention away from her boring past, she tuned to Ara. "What about you, did you ever go to university?" she asked, seeing the female was younger than her, deciding to ask more than ask what she studied.
