I felt sort of bad leaving Allison up there to drive us like a taxi cab worker, but we weren't gonna drive too long, I'm sure. "Chinese for sure." I was bursting at the seams with joy at that thought, recalling my hunger. Allison began to play more Imagine Dragons, giving me 'the feels'. I'd probably remember this for a while. I turned to look at Toby, studying his face with a small smile.

"Okay, I know a really good place a few miles up the road." Allison told them smiling. Radioactive finished, then Tiptoe started playing," In the morning light, let my roots take flight," she mumbled, turning into the shopping center with the Chinese restaurant.

I smiled as Allison put some music on. My head was laying back on the seat. I lolled my head over to the side a bit drunkenly and looked at Sloane. I stuck my tongue out and crossed my eyes, looking dead.

"eh. Warm enough though; I'm not one to generate my own heat despite being hotheaded." She shrugged slightly and rubbed her eyes, finding releif when the contacts finally came out. Her olive eyes began to darken as well, slowly turrning that deep brown that gave her a puppy dog appearelance when she asked for it.

Allison started tapping her steering wheel along to the song, with her index finger. She was searching for a parking spot closest to the restaurant. Once she found one, she pulled into it, parked the car, and turned it off. She pulled the keys out of the ignition, and stuffed them in her pockets. She then said Toby and Sloane," We're here!"

My slow dance with Mason was interrupted by the sound of a motorcycle revving outside. People started to pour out the front door curiousy. "I wonder what happened?" I dragged Mason outside by the hand ad tip-toed, peering over peoples shoulders. "Uh oh, I think the hosts dad got home. He seems drunk. And angry." I pivoted, turning quickly to Mason, my hair flying about my face. I gave him a panicked look, asking him with my eyes what we should do.

Before I knew it, we arrived at the restaurant. I stirred from my zone out, leaping from the car with a perk in my step. Solely for food. I opened the door and glanced at the two with the most excited expression, practically bouncing at the smell. I was obsessed with Chinese food. "I can has special fried rice?" I pleaded with my hands in a begging formation, touching my chin.

I managed to scoot myself a little closer until my side was touching hers. "There's a true shocker. If it worked like that, no one could even live in this town cause they'd melt." I joked, giving her a sideways look. We were both sparsely lit, only a small amount due to lack of natural or non-natural light. I smiled slightly when I saw her face, feeling familiarity again.
