Lexi trumped down the stairs to the common room, eager to read her book in a more comfortable space. The Quidditch match was very soon, and she needed to come up with a spectacular game plan. "Hi Jake." she said, sitting on the floor.

He smiled sleepily and waved. "Hey Lexi." Umbra pureed and padded over nudge her leg with his head.

Lexi gingerly pet the cat on the head, not really paying attention. "The Quidditch match is today, right?" she asked absently.

Jake nodded as Umbra purred louder. "Yeah, I do believe it is."

Lexi nodded thoughtfully. "Anyway." She sat down on the floor and beckoned the cat closer. "How have you been? Why're sleeping in here?"

Jake shugged. "Passed out down here and didn't feel like moving." Umbra trotted over and laid down, rolling onto his back.
