Welcome to


Johnson-Way Academy, also known as JWA around campus, is the secondary school academy, for years 10 to 13. JWA is located in Nottingham, United Kingdom. It has all the drama, relationships, extras, cliques of any other public upper school. The one thing about JWA that is different is the set-up. See the students, they live on campus; almost like they are in college. Dorms. Clubs. Greeks. All the things you might find at a college, only in a secondary school Academy. Social is great at JWA. In fact we actually have a school dance coming up soon. We'd love to see you there.

Nor will I be comfortable with someone coming up to me and starting a random conversation. I guess that's why I'm always the one in the back of the class and hardly answering the questions asked. I am often the one who will begin to hide behind his art. However, I believe if I find someone kind enough, then I will begin to open up to others, and tell my tale.
нιѕтoяу :: "East Germany, I was born and raised to the Johnson family. I never fit in with my peers, but I learned that at a young age. Do you remember that one child in your day care that spent their days in the corners or by themselves just drawing pictures? Well, that was me. I never played 'Bang Bang!' with the other children. The teachers would ask me why I never did play with them. My answer was always the same, “They don’t like me. It’s mutual.” After about 10 years, people stopped worrying about my anti-sociability. They just left me alone. Just as I had wanted them to do since the beginning.
My high school years were spent at an academy in England that my father owned with his good family friends, The Way's. You would think the rich and talented kids wouldn't pick on the kid whose father owns the school, right? Wrong. When I reached high school, the bullying actually began. I was somewhat of a nerd and misfit back in those years. People became my fear, and color & noise became my savior.
I've got into drugs when I started year 11. I don't really know why, but I did. The good thing is, people see druggies as some of the most artistic and creative people. Hell, I have even created a bong out of a gas mask. That was probably one of my favorite creations to this date. Don't be freaked out if I come wearing it to school. Or do. But I usually only wear it in the commons.

Personally,I find it hard to describe one's own personality without being egotistic. I will try my best here, but I will say; I'm not afraid to admit that I am egotistic unlike others. Now, let us start with the meaning of why I chose those lyrics. No matter the situation, I am not afraid to fight my way out of it... or even in to it. Many people think I should just be kicked out of school, but I won't be. I got kicked out of 3 school before my father decided to bring me into his. The thing that people don't know about those situations I fight in is that they are caused by me trying to fight for others. Yeah, you heard me right, I do fight for others, not just myself. I can be a sweetheart when time calls for it. I can actually be a big crybaby to some for some of the smallest things when I am around the people I actually fight for. I guess I do it because no one did it for me when I was younger."

If my last name wasn't enough to prove my blood relation to his school. My Uncle, Marcus Johnson, and my father built this school and now, my cousin, Benjamin Dill Johnson and I attend it. Around my age of 8, my father moved us to Eastern Germany where he and his brother came up with the idea for this school. I was in grade school during the move. I didn't take kindly to it. I was bitter, and so where the other little kids to me. I was often picked on by the boys and girls. I'd come home with a broken nose or a black eye every now and then. Remember how I told you I got kicked out of 3 different upper schools? Well, it was the same for primary school. Except that number was 4. Just like any other bad kid, I was blamed for everything. The only bad things I ever actually get was drink and fight. When people learned this and how I had been kicked out so much,they began to say something about me to get themselves out of trouble. Oh, you stole something? Just blame that Shanii Way. Oh, you insulted a teacher? Tell 'em Shanii Way told you to do it. Oh, you have drugs in your backpack? Put them in that Shanii girl's locker. I'm sure she's doing them anyway. It hurt. Everything they did. Everything they blamed me for. That's how my father got me into JWA. He knew I wasn't as bad as everyone said I was. He knew of the drinking only because my mother was the one who let me start. The fights were something he frowned upon. They still are. But at least now he understands why I do it. I think even after he is long & dead and I will never be able to run to him again, I will always remember what he told all those years, Stay calm, keep your head up high, and never look down. Because that, my dear, that is when they trip you."

physical movements or vocal sounds.
while some with this strange issue
normally have the same types of tics,
his vary by the day. one day he might
be meowing without meaning to, the
next he'll be clearing his throat and
making sneezing noises even though
he isn't really sneezing. he gets it really
bad, too, and often ends up shouting
and crying, and he has really bad
echopraxia and echolalia. echopraxia
is the imitating of movements he sees,
and echolalia is repeating words, phrases
and sounds he hears. this makes doctors
say he has "fullblown tourette's". he often
gets worked into these two main problems
by his mood, the weather, how his day is
going, etc. he is affected by most, if not
all of the tics associated with tourette's.

this little freshman really isn't all too little. pres hit his growth spurt early, and as a year ten student, he's already at tall as some of the shorter year eleven and twelve boys, at 5'7". he's got slender shoulders that are pale and freckled, and his arms are longer and more nimble. the only place he's got any bit of muscle at all is his stomach, where he's beginning to build some abs. his ribs poke out slightly, but it isn't unhealthy; along with his small build is a small weight. he is technically about six pounds underweight, but that really isn't all too bad. he can't work out too often because it tends to stress him out, and when preston stresses, tics are set off. this boy is blond with paler blond and a light brown mixed in, making a nice mixture of dirty blond. he also has bright blue-grey eyes. he's a bit on the whiter side, and pres is either white or red. mayo or ketchup. eggshell or lobster. he's also got freckles covering his arms, and he often temporarily dyes his hair colors and paints his face for different thing and tries to get around the school dress code with the bright, distracting, unnatural colors.

mr. school spirit. yes, preston is that guy. he's always decked out in johnson-way related clothing, whether it be a wristband, keychain, sweater, scarf, hat or any other type of thing. he is very proud of the school he's in, always going to the games and pep rallies. hell, once, in seventh grade, his friend got him to try out for the cheerleading squad. he didn't get the spot, only because they were creeped out by his tourette's. but, he still tried, and that proves just how loyal he is. preston is very insecure. this is because his disorder causes him to get bullied, or at least looked at funny. most, if not all the teachers at his school are not educated in his syndrome, and some even think it's fake, or that he's faking it. pres is definitely a goody-two-shoes. he tries to be the teacher's pet, his hand is always the first in the air to answer a question and he strives to get all A's. however, if he doesn't understand something, he cries, and his tics begin to come out. one thing about tourette's syndrome is that both positive and negative feelings and emotions, any changes besides neutral, trigger tics. the more severe it is, the more sensitive, and his is very severe. he is a very sensitive person, and he loves to make friends with people, though the feelings aren't always mutual when someone comes over to say hello and he starts wheezing, or his head hand jerks over and over at about one second per twitch. he loves to be around people and tries not to let his tourette's get in the way of his life. preston is very optimistic.

little, baby me had life easy. I was born a day short of valentine's day, feburary 17th, in a quiet hospital tucked away in kansas. my mother was always there for me, despite having me at the young age of twenty, and so were her impressive, locally famous chocolate chip cookies. I used to dance with her around the kitchen, and she would clap as if the whole world was cheering with her. Oh, life would've been great if daddy didn't turn into total workaholic, alcoholic scar on this planet. it was like suddenly one day my dad had left, and a moster of a man took his place. one day, I guess something inside him just decided to leave. I used to wonder if he ever even said goodbye, but now I don't care, I just wish I never knew him. so there I was, alone with my mom in an empty house with an empty wallet. she took up a job as a waitress and we moved here to be able to afford the easier rent.
that's where I'm at now, and I think things are going to change.
I don't know where I'm going, or who I'm gonna be, all I know is that I want to dance and live my life, and that's something to smile about.

Well, where to start? I have olive green eyes that sparkle in an almost chatoyant way, complimenting my confident smile. My hair is a light chesnut color, making it appear almost as a dark blonde. It spikes up a bit in the front with the slightest hint of waves at the tip. Despite my horrible diet, I've always been very slender or even thin, but not all too muscular. My skin has a honey tone that is slightly pale, especially in colder months. I'm tall, and usually a bit taller than most of my classmates. I have one small tatoo on my hand of an arrow. As far as my style of clothing, I really don't have one, but I'm almost always well-dressed. It can vary from skinny jeans and skater shoes to converse and a leather jacket depending on my mood.
