Personality:Rabbitstep is a very... unique cat. Because she's so tiny, it makes her heartbeat a bit faster then normal warrior's, which causes her to be very frightened easily. Her heartbeat also makes her very playful, also she easily forgets about things, gets distracted, and thinks faster than she can control herself. Some examples is that if she is told to hunt, she might end up practicing pouncing on a leaf. If a dog pops out of nowhere, she freezes and runs to her clan, not turning and fighting. If a cat comes out of nowhere and scares her, she might think it's a fox trying to kill her. Her last weakness, playfulness, makes her a bad mentor, usually distracting her to play with an apprentice, rather than teaching the apprentice.
(Though apprentices don't have a problem with that. c:)
Though she has her weak side, she also has a powerful side. Her size makes her able to run very fast, good for hunting and tripping big-bodied creatures like badgers; it also enables her to get to the clan fast enough to warn if there is an attacker. Her skittishness makes her question everything and everyone, though she often wanders off in her thoughts and thinks of something else. Her playfulness makes her very good with helping kits pass by their time. The small body she has is helpful with climbing trees; the branches don't break as easily. Rabbitstep is also very light-footed, perfect for catching prey.
Altogether, Rabbitstep is a fast-moving, playful, skittish, and a bit of a shy warrior who would die for her clan, even if she doesn't act like she would.History:Starting from the beginning, Rabbitstep was found a mewing kit beside Mistclan's border. She was too little to remember her father or mother, so the clan took her in, and luckily a queen still had enough milk to take care of her. At first Rabbitstep, Rabbitkit at the time, loved her clan. It was so welcoming and strong. But she felt bad she couldn't do anything as a kit. So, one day when she was 5 moons, Rabbitkit decided to catch the biggest fox in the forest for her clan. She snuck out of the nursery, and then out of the clan one day. Luckily, before she got lost, she ran into a hunting patrol. Rabbitkit told them she wanted to catch the biggest fox. Most of the warriors disapproved of her actions, but the apprentice in the patrol gave Rabbitkit a mouse that he caught. Of course that didn't mean anything to the clan, and she had to stay in the nursery for two nights in a row as discipline.
As an apprentice Rabbitstep, at that time Rabbitpaw, wasn't too happy as an apprentice. Because she wasn't born in-clan, some apprentices did not approve of her being in the clan. They told her she was so non-warrior, that Starclan was forbidding her of being tall enough to be a warrior. Their rood theory got around, and at least 2-3 warriors started believing it. They were wondering if she was really meant to be in the clan. They thought that Rabbitpaw was a traitor. But these theories only lasted a few nights, and the warriors were soon reassured about Rabbitpaw. But still some think down upon her for her loner parents. After her experience, this is when Rabbitpaw became skittish and con to fighting.
But when Rabbitstep became a warrior, her life became like any other warrior's, other than her small size, of course. But she is much less skittish around her clanmates and trust them more, so do they trust her. Though she does not have clan blood, she feels like she was born here.
