If I did a single drawing, would I get 5 gems just for doing it? Or is it only the best for out of each category? Like, only the top 3 people or something would get the gems? And is it based only on quality?

I was wondering, if we do get the gems and coins but don't end up using them all will we be able to converse them if there is another event sort of like this? Like what happened to the feathers.
