name: ronin lyles. ronin means "wandering samurai", while lyles is simply ronin's surname.
age: at twenty, ronin's on the older side of the tributes. however, this doesn't make her any less of a threat.
district: ronin hails from district six, along with a man named mika.
training score: ronin received a nine.
skills: ronin excels at knife-throwing. that would have to be her biggest strength. however, she's also pretty good with plants [though not foolproof] and keeps calm in the face of danger, a skill honed in her own games. ronin's also a lot stronger than her small frame would suggest.
weaknesses: she's not fast when it comes to anything but knives. her reflexes are actually quite poor. ronin's more of a long-distance girl.
her games: ronin's win was an upset, something that no one - least of all her - expected. sure, the girl could chuck knives at people with incredible accuracy under stress, but that was pretty much it. so even her defeat of the career from district one came as a shock to everybody. to be honest, she didn't even have a knife then - just some throwing stars. yet somehow, in some way, the career still fell from the wound in his throat and ronin won with minimal injury. she has scars from her games, but they're not too noticeable. and ronin was thrilled to return to her family, who she thought she'd never see again. the only bad thing? ronin watched her district partner be killed and did absolutely nothing. how could she have? at least, that's what she tells herself when she wakes up from the dreams of her childhood friend sam's throat being slit by the girl from four.
about her: ronin is easy to forget. she's easy to underestimate. but everyone seems to conveniently forget that she too is a victor. she learned some lessons in the arena. before the horrors she saw at the ripe old age of thirteen, ronin was a naive young girl with an aspiration to become a butcher. now she lives in victor's village with her mother and father. the games changed her, making her aloof and untouchable, like something you look at from afar but never touch. all the same, she's not too threatening and is hoping her opponents will overlook her. after all, everyone else has.
