Severus shook his head. "No thank you." He mumbled, jumping back when a 4 month old, cream and white tiger striped kitten sprang upon his desk. Severus reached his free hand out to the now purring animal, petting its small head gently.

Lissy was staring in amazement. The sight before her was just to much, firstl, a cat in the Dungeons, secondly, Severus stroking it. "Thats yours?" She asked softly, reaching to stroke the kitten. "It's gorgeous..."

"Yes, his name is Artemis, Arty for short." Severus mumbled, lowering his hand as the kitten moved to press his head into Lissy's palm.

Lissy stroked the cat lovingly. "I never knew you had animals, Severus" she almost whispered, gazing at his black eyes.

"He appeared dead, fleas covering his body. But he twitched, and I picked him up, away from the mother whom did not care for him, and took him in, fed him, washed him, and here he stays." Severus nodded.
