Hey there.
I'd prefer to PM you, but you have those turned off at the moment.
This actually makes me feel really uncomfortable. :/
My bean is named Castiel, but that's his full name. He mostly goes by Cas. And you've made their items exactly the same.
You didn't even ask me.
I'd really appreciate it if you would change his name and items.
He's adorable, and you're really lucky to have gotten him. c:
Though in my opinion he looks more like a 'Dean' than another 'Cas'.

I'm COPPAed, so I had no choice in that.
For two months I had been thinking of the name Castiel for the breeding. If I obtained him that is. Which I did.
Though you can't really 'reserve' names for Bean's that don't exist. And it was only between me and Willow.
It was only a day after your Castiel was born that he was born. I didn't know at first, and really had no way to contact you other than the thread and I personally felt uncomfortable asking you. Some bean's have the same items to a extent and some even similar names but if you feel utterly uncomfortable with it I may change it to Dean or Sam maybe. That's just my opinion with it. While we discuss this I will cover this up.

Oh, apologies, I hadn't seen that. ^^
And sorry, I had no clue someone had been so intent on naming their bean that. :c I checked the archives and everything, so I went with it. Though unfortunately for you, I made the derision first, meaning that name is now taken. I really am uncomfortable with it, and would truly appreciate your cooperation.
Thank you.

Actually there is nothing stopping her from naming the bean Cas. I want to point out a simuliar instance with Diren, and then Ren. Both actually go by the name of Ren. Diren was the original bean but there wasn't an issue when a bean came up named Ren. I don't see anything wrong with the name of Cas. They're both eligible names as far as I'm concerned.

Cas comes from the same character they are both named after. :/
I see this as a large problem personally, and feel really uncomfortable with it.
Edit: I also believe that the rule is two beans can have the same/near exactly the same names if the other person agrees and is fine with it. Correct?

We have several Doctor Who beans; I don't see a problem with this bean being named Cas, it's different than Castiel. As Polar already said, we have plenty of beans with somewhat duplicate names.
And no. There is no rule like that that I am aware of. Otherwise we wouldn't have three Blueberry somethings.

Cas is a very common name though. At least as far as characters; this is why I try to look outside the box as far as naming character names after others. Sometimes these things happen. There is nothing wrong with her naming it Cas though. If you had a unique name, say that you came up by yourself. Its like having someone else name a bean named Dy, from Dye; Or Dai/Di. There is nothing I would be able to do to stop them despite the name sounding strictly the same/familiar. It's just not similar enough to pull the red Flag.
Feel free to keep the name Cas; Wolf.

Woh, while I was typing something this became a tad bit of a friendly dispute. If Bronwyn isn't comfortable with it, since well we both went with the same character to base our beans on. I'm not breaking any rules, but I respect her resistance to the name and I will indeed change it. It might lead to future arguments/confusion since their both called 'Cas'.
I haven't built a whole personality to this bean and can happily change it at my will. If I was in Bronwyn's situation I would like the other person to change it. But if it was like "Blueberry Slush" vs. "Blueberry Popsicle" I wouldn't be bothered.
I'll have to side with her, even if the name is rather common. She claimed the name first but I simply tried shortening it.
I shall change it for the sake of keeping the peace.
