Dani struck out, and in a fit of spontaneity, wandered down to the lake, where she saw a girl from the Poseidon cabin making weapons out of water. She followed her to the practice arena, and decided that even though she's dreadful at fighting without a bow and arrows, she'd spar with her, and is currently utilizing defender tactics. On the Roman side of things, Aurora was injured in battle by an arrow to the chest. Ethan quickly removed the arrow and gave her nectar. They then expeditiously retreated, back to the Praetor cabin, where it seems that they are making up after that nasty fight from earlier!")

Dani moved and parried the attack with her shield again, grinning in spite of herself. Was she actually a decent defender? Or was the Poseidon girl just going easy on her? It was impossible for her to tell, but she continued this tactic, bracing for another blow.

"I know we can't always be there to protect them, but I was there and I wasn't about to let her get skewered, look at what that arrow do to me and then imagine it on someone half my size." Aurora started to clean her room, unable to sit still.

Dani didn't expect the disarming attack. Try as she did to keep hold, the shield fell out of her hands to the floor with a clatter, exposing her torso. Her eyes widened and she instinctively lashed out with her dagger in an uncoordinated way. The attack was more offensive than defensive, but she hadn't planned it that way.

[Darth Cookie]

"AURORA!" Ethan screamed, "Do you want to be able to fight in the coming war, or do you want to be lying in here helplessly with the same chest wound?"

Jess quickly moved her watery shield in front of te dagger and thrust her trident to Dani's exposed chest as she felt her shield ripple with the impact.

Raven ignored the pebbles and focused on Kylie, "So, how's things?" she asked, tucking her leg against her chest so she could lean her chin on her kneecap.

Red gave as light sigh, watching the unskilled girl with a dagger. maybe I'm like that with a bow, or ezen spear... I'm more used to short blades and swords I guess.. she thought to herself. She was suddenly glad that people underestimated the Aphrodite kids, since they usually only care about looks. She loved fooling an enemy in a fight. It somewhat amused her.

Kylie shrugged. "Fine, I guess," she murmured.

Aurora flinched at his tone and silently stood up and walked over and sat on her bed. Her face portraying no emotions. "I will be fine."

Ethan rolled his eyes. "You could've died! Could I at least get a 'thank you'?" he asked, irritated.

Aurora rolled her eyes and stood up, standing right in front of him she whispered "Thank you, Ethan."
