"Quickly, run; get away from the cliff!" An old grey tabby yowled in fear as the ground shook, making a rock slide occur, throwing various sizes of rocks down a tall, dusty cliff face, falling into the sandy clearing below. The clearing was the home to make wild cats but many of them had died already; they had been crushed by rocks or trees that had fallen over. The old grey tabby was named Stonestar and was the leader of a Clan whose name was JaggedClan. They had lived in the rocky clearing for many generations ever since cats first set paw in these lands but now, everything they had worked for was being crushed by falling rocks from the cliff that towered above them.. "Oatsong, my loyal deputy, where are you?" Stonestar's desperate cry rang out through the clearing, bouncing off the edges of the dens, echoing and making the call sound louder than it actually was. "Stonestar! Over here; it's Oatsong, she got hit by a rock!" Shimmertail, a warrior tomcat of the Clan, called out to the leader who was many fox-lengths away from him. Holding his breath in shock, he darted over to the two cats, one of whom, Oatsong, was stuck under a large rock, barely alive. "My dear Oatsong, I am so sorry.. Please, hold on a little long, we will move the boulder and-" The tomcat was cut off by Oatsong as she struggled to say, "Stonestar.. You must... Save the Clan... You are a good leader... Be careful with your last life... Don't die like me.. Survive and die of old age..." The shecat's eyes rolled back in their sockets as the young deputy used her last breath to speak to Stonestar. Sadness flashed across both tomcats' faces as the looked down on the pale ginger tabby laying limp under the rock that had killed her. Taking a minute to mourn, Stonestar looked around the camp and at all the dead bodies of cats, scattered across the clearing, wedged underneath rocks that seemed to fall from the heavens itself. Shaking his head in grief, he looked to the sky as a thought ran through his mind, filled with anger and sadness for the loss of his clanmates; StarClan! Why are you punishing us? What have we done wrong?... He shook his head again, only this time to clear the thoughts he was having. He felt as though this event was making the old leader lose faith in their ancestors but if he did, what right did he have to lead the Clan? None. He knew that he would have to ignore everything else that was going on and only concentrate on getting the remaining cats in the Clan to safety. Part of Stonestar knew that the Clan would never be the same as he called out to the last of the cats alive, "Warriors of JaggedClan. I know you have lost many loved ones today and I know that you are grieving, but we must stay strong! We need to pull through this; we can not give up! If we give up now then everyone we have lost today will die in vain. We must continue the legacy that is MintClan! We must stay strong.. I know for a fact that we cannot stay here; we need to find a new place to live. Please, follow me once more and we will live for everyone that has died today." The grey tabby paused as cats gathered around him, wounded and scared. "Once we get away from here we will treat to the wounded and everyone will be fed and watered. We may have to travel for a few days but we will survive!" Many cats nodded and yowled in agreement when Stonestar finished his speech, leaving him feeling stronger than ever. Nodding to the cats, he beckoned for them to follow him as he made his way towards the forest, leaving everything he had ever knew behind. Despair overwhelmed him as he padded away from him home and he suddenly felt like he was no longer up to being leader of the Clan but he knew, as they walked into the darkness of the night, that he couldn't give up on his Clan.
The now-tiny-Clan walked and walked for several days before they found a suitable place for them to stay and a few other cats, mainly kits and elders, had died on the journey. The place they found sanctuary at was in the middle of a forest, away from any kind of rocky places as many cats were paranoid of the same incident happening again. It took the Clan many moons to get settled in and just as Stonestar had appointed a new deputy, he sadly passed away from old age. The new leader renamed the Clan, MintClan to try and erase as many memories from their previous life as they could but nothing could erase them completely. However, this is a new era for MintClan, this is ｊｕｓｔ ｔｈｅ ｂｅｇｉｎｎｉｎｇ．．．

ｔｈｅ ｒｕｌｅｓ

ｏｎｅ; ｌｉｔｅｒａｃｙ ｌｅｖｅｌ － This is a semi-literate roleplay so this means that I expect at least 5-6 well written sentences per character although more is strongly encouraged; But please, you do not need to write a book with every post as this is only a semi-literate roleplay not a literate one. I am also expecting you to use good grammar, punctuation and spellings. I do understand if you make a mistake every now and then as we are only human after all. I also understand writer's block but please, please, please do not use it as an excuse all the time or I will have to kick you out of the roleplay.

ｔｗｏ; ｐｏｓｔｉｎｇ － As you probably know, semi-literate roleplays tend to ask you to make your post really pretty with a load of fancy formatting but I am not asking that here. Yes, I understand that just plain black text is rather boring so all I ask is that you do a little something with your posts whether it be centering it and changing the colour of the text; I do not mind. If, however, you do wish to make your posts really pretty then so be it, you may, but please try to avoid using very bright colours as it make hurt some people's eyes. One last thing, I do not want any pictures to be used in your posts, this includes fontmeme as it slow downs my computer and the page ends up taking forever to load.

ｔｈｒｅｅ; ｊｏｉｎｉｎｇ & ｆｏｒｍｓ － As I have mentioned before, this is a semi-literate roleplay, so, in result of this I expect you to make your own forms. You can make your form[s] as pretty as you want but they must include the following things: name, warrior name, age, gender, rank, personality [not just meet me] and a picture or detailed description. You do not have to include a history if you don't want to. I would like the personality and description to be at least 5-6 lines long as that is just a paragraph and I will be judging if you qualify for the roleplay or not from what's in your form[s]. As for the amount of characters you have, you can only have two characters each to start off with, one she-cat and one tomcat. Please note that there will be limited spaces in this roleplay so of course you can reserve places. However, you may only keep a reservation for three - four days at the most unless you PM with a VERY good reason as to why I should keep the place reserved for you.

ｆｏｕｒ; ａ ｌｉｔｔｌｅ ｍｏｒｅ ｏｎ ｃｈａｒａｃｔｅｒｓ － The amount of characters you can have in this roleplay is only two to start off with but you may have two kits as characters in the future, preferably one tomcat and one she-cat as well. The starting age for your starting characters will be 7+ moons as I do not want any kits at the start of the roleplay because people tend to make them abandoned or their parents have died and this just annoys me. As a result of this, I will not be accepting queens at the start of the roleplay because they will just say that their mate died or left, plus, you have not met any cats at the beginning of the roleplay and you cannot just pick a mate without that person knowing. Later on in the roleplay I may expand the character spots and let each of you create one or two more characters that are to start out as loners. Please remember that no character is perfect and that they shouldn't have powers. You may not kill a person's character unless they have given permission where I can see. And please, realistic warrior names only! Here is a list of acceptable prefixes. I will only accept names that are there. Also, no using prefixes that other people have already taken, for example, no Cherrytail and Cherrypaw. On last thing, cats must have realistic appearances as well.

ｆｉｖｅ; ｆｉｎｉｓｈｉｎｇ ｏｆｆ － Just the general rules now. Follow the site's rules and no swearing or cursing expect for warrior ones like, Fox-dung or Mouse-brain. Please keep it PG13 and when needed, fade to black. Try not to ignore other people's cats and if someone asks for a recap, give them one! No instant crushes, and please try and be as active as you can! Also, have fun and enjoy this roleplay! I may add more rules if I need to and I can tell if you haven't read the rules I already have.

ＢＡＣＫ ＳＴＯＲＹ + ＰＥＲＳＯＮＡＬＩＴＹ:
Snowbird was born to Whiteleaf and Softsong, two white furred clan cats. His younger brother (Sedgekit) only lived for a while before passing away, and the tom never quite remembered him. Despite their small litter and initial loss, the two parents were determined to keep their son happy.
They might have overdone it, but it was not completely their fault. Combined with the whispers of the clan cats and Snowbird only being a kit, he was susceptible to everyone saying that he was "beautiful" or "pretty". It was true, for the most part. His pelt was silky and shiny, and shone with a soft sheen. His eyes, a calm pale blue, matched the shade of the sky in the high summer. His lithe form also added to this. In turn Snowbird grew to what appeared to be an prideful tom and a show off. Even after being a warrior he either acted like a "cute kit" to get what he wanted, or charmed his way through. He disliked having to get his paws dirty as well, and was oblivious to any and all she cats. Perhaps one day he'd act like he though she'd meant something, and the next he would act like nothing had happened. Snowbird is also somewhat cold to cats he doesn't quite care about, know well, or think of as weak.
Despite all the uppity act, there is more to him than what meets the eye. He is very swift ("bird" in his name), and a natural tree climber and runner. That is all the physical exercise he's willing to do by his own will, though. Snowbird is also loyal, defending true friends with his life - sometimes even being reckless. Through his prideful appearance, it is hard to tell any of this apart from everything else. But trust him that it's there.
