Name of the Mutato: Butterfly Fly Away


What is Your Reason for Choosing the Name? This Mutato's name was inspired by the song Butterfly Fly Away by Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus. When I first heard this song I didn't like it; but the more I listened to it, the more I enjoyed it. The song is really just about growing up; but I think it can also describe this Mutato.

Every year monarch butterflies fly southward in a migration from Canada to Mexico and/or Baja California. They return later in the year, usually around springtime or summertime. Like caterpillars changing into butterflies, the seasons change from spring to summer, then to fall, and finally to winter. Like butterflies flying away, the seasons pass as time goes on.

I think this name perfectly describes this Mutato, as she represents all of the seasons and changes they bring to our amazing world.


What is Your Favorite Season and Why? Well...truth be told, I don't just have ONE favorite season. I have three. X) I like Spring, Autumn, and Winter for different reasons which I shall explain below.




Let's start with Spring. I love spring because of all the beautiful flowers that start to bloom; and the flowers not only smell nice, but look pretty too. It's the start of a new cycle of the seasons - winter has ended, and now the life comes back into the beings that lost it. The tiny buds on the trees before the flowers start to bloom are simply so tiny and sweet; and once they burst open the beautiful flowers are available for everyone to admire. The green leaves finally surface again; the bare branches are gone; the plants that had lain dormant have a second chance at life. Springtime truly is a magical time representing starting over - it's the start of a new year, and a new chance at life.







Let's move on to Autumn. Autumn is one of my favorite seasons because of the leaves that change color. The bright green slowly drains out of the leaves as the colors underneath shine through, finally taking over the entire leaf and changing it to red, yellow, or orange. The treetops turn even more beautiful than they normally are; the beautiful hues simply shine under the dim sunlight. The crisp, cool air is neither hot nor cold, but the perfect temperature. While some people consider Autumn to be a season of death (leaves loose their color, trees loose their leaves, flowers start to wither, etc.), and still others consider it to be a season of mourning, most people love autumn for the beauty it brings the world - and the reminder that life is precious, and we should enjoy every bit of it we can.







Finally, we have Winter. While being the coldest of the seasons, it is also one of the most magical. People seem to be more courteous during the winter season; they seem to slow down and enjoy the beauty that surrounds them. During Christmas (or Hanukkah, or whatever other holiday you celebrate during winter), people are more gracious, giving gifts and trying to improve themselves for the upcoming year. The snow that lays upon the ground brings joy to young children and adults alike; the cold, chilly air is the perfect time of year for hot chocolate and warm fires. While the trees may be bare, the beautiful blanket of snow that covers them makes up for the loss of their leaves, fruit, and/or flowers. People sing songs of joy during wintertime; relishing in the happiness of the season. I personally like winter, because my birthday is about a week before Christmas. Winter is a time of death, but it is also a time to think about one's life and how one may change and improve in the upcoming year.

Séasúr. But friends call him Séa for short.

REASON FOR CHOOSING THE NAME **

Séasúr means Season in Irish. I was looking for so many names. I've translated season in almost every language but I liked this one the most. He represents the Season and so is his name. Seasons can be everything. Cold and warm, sad and funny. Almost everything. So like his charakter. He is happy the most time but can change fast. He can be happy but after a few minutes he is sad without having a reason why.

FAVOURITE SEASON AND WHY? **

My favourite season is winter. I love the cold and the snow outside. My birthday is in winter und the most time I don't think it's too cold. I love how it's look like when you walk down the street and all the lights are on. This moment is only in winter in my opinion. And my favourite holiday is in winter. Christmas. It's so familiar. You have the most important people at your side and all of you are joining this event. And yes the presents are cool too! D: It's maybe only my opinion but I have the most fun in winter.

MUTATO FAVOURITE ITEM. **

I decided to add as an extra his favourite item. I decided it is his scarf. He loves it so much because his mother gave it to him. So maybe this scarf is a bit old but it's just a black little scarf, so you can wear it everywhere and you can wear it the most time in the year.

Lya means "dweller in the wood or clearing." The tree featured in this Mutato's body is alone in a clearing, it's only company, the Mutato it is featured in. Lya is dwelling in the clearing, looking at the tree of the seasons and taking in its beauty.
What is your favorite season and why?
I love all the seasons. To me, they are a welcome change that can be all very beautiful at times. I'll go from my "least favorite" to my most. Even though Fall isn't my favorite season, I still enjoy it. All the bright colors of the trees are very beautiful, and who can't say that jumping into piles of leaves wasn't fun. (right up until you saw that huge spider sitting on the leaf next to you) Winter was fun for me too, it seems you can do many things in winter that you cannot at any other time. Sledding, skiing, snowball fights, the hot chocolate afterwards... Now for summer. I used to say this was my favorite, but thinking it through, I realized it wasn't. While I love summer, a time for swimming and rest, spring for me is my favorite. I love to see nature rising from its sleep, hear all the sounds of the animals waking up, especially the birds with their songs. I could listen to them for hours. So spring is my favorite season.

Are first impressions really so important that something as simple as your name defines who you are? Most of the time, it seems that the answer to this is yes. So pass your judgement, and allow first impressions to sink in. Only then can you look past that and see the person inside. This Mutato goes by the name Armonía.

Name Meaning
I contemplated back and forth for some time trying to decide which name and meaning would best describe gorgeous girl. After doing a bit of digging, I fell in love with the Spanish word 'Armonia', which directly translates to 'harmony'. I thought the name suited her perfectly because without harmony between the seasons, the world would turn to utter chaos. If the world froze over too long, everything would die. Without spring, nothing new could grow, which would leave the planet desolate. An overly hot summer for an extended period of time could destroy any ecosystem and dry up rivers, lakes, and streams. Without Autumn, there wouldn't be a harvest, and the lack of preparation for winter would leave the vegetation to wither away. The seasons must coexist together in order to function the way they're suppose to. This not only applies to the seasons, but to the sun and moon also. Daylight cannot rule forever - nor can the night. Armonia represents balance, peace, and most importantly of all, unity.

My Favorite Season
There's no contest as to which season I prefer. I absolutely despise the cold, which rules and winter. And though summer is lovely, Autumn is the cream on the cake. The earth is just beginning to retain a chill, so there's no worrying over whether or not you're going to either 1) freeze to death, 2) be blown away in a giant gust of wind or 3) pass out from heatstroke. (I become overheated easily for whatever reason, so I always have to be careful during the summer. It drives me crazy. >.<) Fall is a time for the harvest, which is absolutely my favorite time of year. You spend springtime planting, summer weeding and watering in the heat, but finally when autumn arrives, you can see your hard work pay off when you've got more than enough vegetables (and pumpkin pie) to enjoy.
Of course the leaves are dying (which sounds depressing) but they almost seem to set the world on fire as they change to different hues of red, orange, and brown. The colors the trees create are simply gorgeous, but as I stare at them, I'm always reminded of how fragile life is: you have to enjoy the beauty now before winter comes and takes it all away. I adore walking outside and hearing the crunching of leaves under my feet and tasting the crisp Autumn air. A true sense of peace washes over me as I walk underneath the golden trees. Fall seems to beg me to come out of my house and explore it's beauty while the other seasons seem to want nothing more than to shut me inside and hope I entertain myself playing video games.
