As Kaleel arrived with a stranger and Zoe came too, Dawn quickly looked at Sketch again, giving him a shy smile and got away from them fast. She lay down before her den, calm but still a bit dizzy and somehow confused about the past moments.

Sketch looked down on him (he's a pretty large Kayrah),"Is that so? Well, we'll just see about that." He called Dawn over from her den,"Could you see if his hunting skill seem fit for the tribe. You are one of our best."

Shadow turned his head.

Dawn looked up, then she quickly walked over to the four other Kayrahs again. "Of course, I can", she answered and looked to the Kayrah she just heard that his name's Shadow.
She turned and started walking towards the south to get to a good hunting ground. "Follow me Shadow", Dawn said before she got faster.

Shadow followed Dawn outside of the kayrah's camp.

Although she noticed a strange smell in the air, Dawn followed her usual path, leading her to a good place to hunt. She stopped and turned around to look at Shadow. "I ask you to bring me a mouse or another small rodent and a bird. That should be enough of a challenge." She said looking up seeing some shiny birds flying around. "Look for the smaller birds. Those big, colorful ones can be pretty aggressive around here." Dawn said, but if he had enough experience he would know that.

Shadow took a few steps, then a powerful leap on a tree, running up the trunk. He saw a small lovebird, alone without their pair. He stalked silently towards it, then, in a twitch of a tail-tip, he leapt towards it. The small bird flew, but Shadow leapt again, and caught it, claws unsheathed. Shadow caught it in his jaws, then brought it to the bottom of the tree trunk.

Shadow walked over to a bush, then got lost. A small mouse was cleaning its head, not paying attention to the things around it. Shadow silently stalked towards it. The mouse stopped. Shadow leapt towards the mouse, catching it in his paws and giving it a short nip in the neck. He picked it up and went to the tree trunk, where he picked up the lovebird.

"How's that for a beginner?" he said, dropping his prey.

Dawn watched Shadow as he caught the lovebird and the mouse. She nodded slightly as he went to pick up his prey.
"I'd say you are good. In my eyes you'll make a good hunter, now let Sketch decide whether you are in the tribe or not."
Dawn watched a parrot sitting on top of a branch, his eyes full of fear and he was absolutely silent.
"Let's go quick, something is wrong here."

Shadow dipped his head and followed Dawn.
