Name of the Mutato: Amya Citlali Sohalia
Why Did I Choose This Name? Amya is an American name, and it means "Night Rain." Citlali is a Native American name, and it means "Star." Sohalia is an Indian (Sanskrit) name, and it means "Moon Glow." The names simply reminded me of this Mutato, and the absolute beauty that she is. I thought these names would fit her personality and looks pretty well.
What Does This Mutato Like to Do When it Rains? It depends upon how hard it's raining, and what time of day it happens to be.
If it's raining heavily in the daytime, Amya will sit and watch the rain fall, observing the tiny splashes against the ground, and watching as the rain collects in puddles. After the rain, she'll usually go out and jump in the puddles, squealing with laughter and joy...and sometimes she'll get really brave and leap out into the rain as it's pounding down and let it shock her tiny body.
If it's raining lightly in the daytime - just sprinkling - she'll walk outside and jump around in the rain, enjoying the feeling of the slight dampness on her fur.
If it's raining lightly in the nighttime, she pretty much just acts like she does in the daytime.
If it's raining heavily in the nighttime, Amya will sit very still, observing the rain, and then run out and scamper around in the rain, squealing as she leaps into the puddles of water and gets herself soaked to the bone.
If she happens to be by an ocean, a river, or a pond and it starts to rain she'll leap into the water (if she's already in the water then she'll stay put), feeling the rain slide down her body as she swims in the current.
Amya absolutely loves the rain, and she loves nighttime as well, so whenever it rains in the middle of the night, she'll usually wake up and either stare at the beauty of the water falling from a pitch-black sky; or she'll run out and squeal and laugh as the water sprays her tiny body. She's most happy and joyful in the water, and will usually call her Mutato friends to come and play with her whenever it rains.
After the rain stops, if Amya isn't outside already, she'll slowly float or walk outside, observing the beautiful raindrops that cover every surface. Her favorite time to observe the effects of the rain is the night, when the moonlight shines through the tiny drops and makes them look like fairy dust or starlight.
