meet nightingale. it's a mouthful, that name, so for obvious reasons
she prefers to be known simply as june. that's her middle name, gi-
ven to her by her typical middle-aged parents with steady jobs and
a good life. she grew up in the middle working class. an only child,
june's parent's doted on her. she got what she wanted - mostly. but
what she really wanted was to be left alone, and to live her own life.
she buried herself in her books until everyone went away and then
she missed them like never before, missed the busy times she'd had
as a child, missed everything about company. but her habits were
strong and june didn't leave her shell. still hasn't. after all, it's not a
crime to want to live a safe, peaceful life.
