Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I Joined about last year, but the mods banned me because they though my family were extras. So I made a new account, and I am doing well now, practically mostly on for the art. I don't bother for pets too much anymore, I just love the Oekaki here. I draw almost every day. I have just lost my first mutato, the rainbow- splatter one to Candied snow, but Its okay, i'm trying best on three that i have fallen in love with. I would put the first one i won into my sig and probably print it out and put it onto my wall ^^ I am trying to actually win my first mutato, because I have fallen in love with the design and just.. love them! I am trying my hardest and best on three mutatoes, but there is some competition, so I doubt i will win them ^^' But this one-- Oh, this one I'm trying my best!! I would practically give up some rares for this one. Just for the sake of my best friend, Alicia.

The design is Simply Beautiful, The top part with the lily's reminding me of Fantasia, the quiet, pretty, calm music floating around everywhere, the bottom part reminding my of my bestest friend, Alicia. She is a great piano player and I am trying to win this so maybe it will make her feel better since she had lately gotten sick. But anyways, Harmony loves the tender harmony of music, and always makes her own songs, and plays piano. Its a beautiful, calm, pretty name in my opinion, and i think it suits this beautiful little mutato very well <3

This Mutato Can be calm at times, but this mutato also LOVES music that gets her going! She thinks its catchy and fun, but she has a whole list of her favorite songs! But she said that this one she has been listening to for a while now...Swing Tavi, Swing! She can be calm and classical, and loves to write her own classical music, but she loves to also listen to pop- fast- paced music. But one of her favorite artists (Since shes technically an animal~) is, Octavia! She also loves Vinyl, since shes all about Beat and fast- catchy music, but Tavi was inspired by Vinyl to make this, and its now her top favorite~

Name of the Mutato: Octiscratch (Her nickname is Octapon, and her DJ name is Melody of the Vinyl Records.)

What Was Your Reason for Choosing That Name? The minute I saw the design for this Mutato, I thought of two characters from the TV show "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" (I will abbreviate this title to "MLP:FiM" for most of this post). The two characters I thought of are both female background characters; they are named Octavia Melody and Vinyl Scratch/DJ Pon-3.


According to the MLP:FiM Wikipedia, DJ Pon-3 or Vinyl Scratch is a Unicorn disc jockey. Neither of her names are used in the show, but she is named in merchandise, including a trading card which states that "DJ Pon-3 is actually a stage name, and her real name is Vinyl Scratch."

Her coat, while appearing white, is actually a VERY pale yellow (hex code #FEFDE7); her mane is two different shades of blue; and her eyes are magenta. Her cutie mark is two bridged eighth notes - black in color. She wears dark purple sunglasses.

The fandom of "MLP:FiM" has decided that since Vinyl Scratch is a DJ, she must love different types of techno and electronic music. While this has never been confirmed in the show, the fandom continues to agree that Vinyl's favorite music is dubstep. (Just type in "Vinyl Scratch" or "DJ Pon-3" into the youtube search bar and you'll see what I mean. X) )

The name of this Mutato is a combination of these two ponies' names. I absolutely LOVE music, and it's a VERY big part of my life - this may indicate my attachment to the two background ponies which I love so much. This Mutato reminded me of all the beautiful music that I've heard in my life, especially the music inspired by these two characters.

I'm Abused.. I used to be Dave Strider but changed it, much like how life changes. The meaning behind my username is a big and upsetting one and I don't wanna trigger anyone so I'm not gonna tell any stories {It is not child abuse btw.. You can call me Dave is your more comfortable with that..} I've been here for a long time and shared an account with a friend farther back. Aria means 'gentle music' and that describes her perfectly. I wanted to have a name that didn't say music so plainly as that is common and boring. Aria not only sounds good, the meaning also fits quite well. Aria has gentle colors and is based on music.
