A mentionable pokémon with a great "movepool" is Smeargle. It has the move Sketch which allows it to copy any move it has seen in battle. It's just that type of pokémon who has cruddy stats that just doesn't back up it's awesome ability.[Or vice-versa.]

Smeargles are the devil. Spore/Lock-on/OHKO Move. It's the moveset of Beelzebub.
So I beat Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. The spoiler-free and censored version of my verdict is...
THE GOOD STUFF* NO MORE HUNGER MECHANIC. YESSS. I hated cramming my bag with apples so I had less room for Oran Berries and Reviver Seeds.
* DAT MUSIC. Holehills has such good music.
* Mysteriosity mechanic. I thought it was really dumb when it first got introduced but in play it’s actually pretty fun. It mixes up the dungeons so it’s not the same room-hall-room-hall-monster house-hall humdum over and over. Sometimes you’ll get all corridor floors, floors with only one Pokemon, floors that slow foes, or floors that ban berries and seeds. It adds a level of challenge so even long-time Mystery Dungeon players have something new.
* The 3D is pretty I guess? I didn’t notice it a whole lot and I only turned on 3D for certain parts but overall the 3D is a gimmick. Call this a neutral point.
* Go Companion Mode! I think the game designers predicted my complaint about too much plot and not enough time to play around with missions and added this in. It’s a blessing for building up EXP and item stock.
* EXP for everyone! Got a low level Pokemon you don’t want to train? No problem! All teammates get EXP you earn in the field regardless of they’re active or not. Best addition EVER.
THE BAD STUFF* The starter selection sucks. Previous titles gave us 10+ Pokemon to choose from and here we only get the three Unova starters plus Pikachu and Axew. And only one Unova starter isn’t ugly is Snivy in my opinion.
* Confusing land textures. Are you in a magma pit, or an untold secret vault of delicious honey?
* Holy rushed plot with no time to do anything else Batman! You barely get any time to explore new dungeons or work on Paradise since you’re constantly shoved into plot point after plot point after plot point. This is annoying since you don’t get time to level up or do missions if you don’t feel like dealing with the plot.
* Lack of non-GenV Pokemon. You get the Eeveelutions which is great but you get a grand total of 29 non-GenV Pokemon and over 70 GenV Pokemon. I know we gave Kanto and Johto some love last games but c’mon.
COMMENTS: It's a good timekiller for Mystery Dungeon fans but I'd wait for that 34.99 price tag to drop since it's fun but not worth the "new DS game" price fun. The lack of variety in recruits does hinder but I think a bigger problem lies in one of the biggest plotpoints; your partner's "Paradise." I think the designers tried to jump on the "CUSTOMIZE ALL THE THINGS" trend in gaming right now (since the big new kid on the DS block is Animal Crossing: New Leaf) with the construction of Paradise and it's... blah. Not good or bad just blah. Because half the time I forgot it was there. The only reason I still maintain mine is for the Starmie game to get stones, and even then dropping two bucks to get the Skill Treasury was the best decision in this game I made.
I guess overall if you like the Mystery Dungeon games, it's not a bad addition. It's not an amazing one either, but you'll find yourself drawn in.

I've watched some of GTI on YouTube (including part of the final boss battle), and it seems to lack that... emotion other PMD games have. Also, for some reason, I don't seem to like the graphics, and I seem to think that with most 3DS games... And I grew up with DS. Placebo much?
EDIT:

I think the end of GTI was sad
(and it was different from the previous games - didn't think they would really get through with it)About 3DS games:
I enjoyed them so far. Especially Luigi's Mansion, Fire Emblem Awakening and Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask.
I used to be online a lot here, but I became bored of this site and I don't like some of the rules here.
Now I'm pretty busy as well. You can still try to message me though, I might be online again now and then : )

If I ever play a Hoenn game, that is what I'll feel like.
Although I'll most likely choose a Treeko and name him Staven due to reasons involving PMD-related YouTube comments on a Spirit Tracks video.I was thinking of writing a Staven x Zelda oneshot today, but... Should I do a Grovyle x Celebi one instead?

I say Grovyle and Celebi, but only because I've never played a Legends of Zelda game (so ashamed). But do whatever you want to! You should always write for yourself just as much as/more than for other people!
And speaking of one-shots, I wrote
this quick little scene out of boredom if anyone cares to look at it.
I was planning on writing more, but I got bored. I feel very ADD right now.
