➳ hey, i'm thorne; just call me whatever you feel the need to. and i'm here to look for
couple onexone roleplays to occupy my time with. i do not have a problem with writing
rather lengthy posts - with good grammar and mechanics, of course - that can consist of a
variation from one paragraph to 4+ paragraphs, nor do i have a problem playing either of
the genders. and the maximum amount of characters i could usually have would be around
one or two. i would usually post once a day or once every other day unless my schedule
manages to get the best of me. i'm also able to play both mxf and mxm relationships.
➳ i would like to have a reasonably active partner who's able to post at least once
every few days. although i do understand if they're busy, in which a small notice would be
lovely. they would also have to be in the semi-lit/literate range and reply with the whole
minimum of a one or two detailed paragraph each post, but the more the better. in
addition, i would prefer for the roleplay to be set over the forums over any other method.
➳ i'm fairly open to most ideas that concerns any of the genres below or even combos;
-------opposites: here i'm talking about the classic opposite attract pairings. maybe not
something too generic, but i'm up for many and most odd pairings in this genre. super-
natural pairings are gladly welcomed also.
-------sci-fi: kinda one of my all-time favorite genres seeing that i am quite a science wiz
myself. this can range from time-travel and alternative timelines to mutations and
paranormal abilities to even a dystopian future. i'm pretty much open to many and
most things here, either based off of a series/movie or book as well.
-------fantasy: the stuff dreams are made of. make-believe worlds and/or creatures. this
includes the supernatural beings such as werewolves, vampires, demons, etcetera.
-------homestuck: a favorite fandom right here; it's an epic webcomic by Andrew Hussie.
i'm only going to play canon characters for this, but i'm also a person with quite a range of
ships and can probably master playing any character if i tried. i am also open to most plots.
-------apocalyptic: end of the world, doomsday for all humanity. it does not necessarily have
to be a zombie apocalypse either. aliens are pretty awesome too, or any supernatural
beings for the matter. or possibly something like 'the last of us'?
-------mythology: any type, i'm really a big fan, but mainly, it's greek and egyptian that i
know the most about. can concern demi-gods, gods/goddesses, creatures, etcetera.

I'm Spitfyre- but I also answer to Spit, Fyre, Fyreh, Flemmeh, and a variety of other names. I'm- like everyone else here- looking for a 1x1 roleplay or a small- no more than four- group roleplay.

About Me

I'm a girl- but I love to play either gender
I'm on every day for at least an hour, if not, almost definitely more.
I'm within the confines of Eastern Standard Time
I prefer to rp on threads rather than PMs
I have pretty good grammar and spelling
I reply what I'm given, most often more, or about the same
I enjoy chatting with my rp partner as long as the rp doesn't fall apart and become just talk
I'm an EMT- I know this makes very little sense to put here, but I am often on while I'm riding shifts. If I suddenly disappear, it's likely I went out on a call and will be back in an hour or two
I've been roleplaying for the last five years
I was taught using what is commonly called "wolfspeak", so sometimes I use that. If it really bothers you I'll try my best not to do it, or if you don't understand it, you can always ask.
I don't do one liners, they only bug me and I find them pointless.
That's about it I think.

What I'm looking for in a partner

I'm looking primarily for commitment.
If I go through the trouble of creating a topic and characters with a history and background I'd like to actually use them. I've gotten a lot of responses in the past where people start or have me start and then disappear. In addition to this I've had people start a roleplay and then when it starts to get good just disappear.
Semi-lit
When I say Semi-lit I don't mean they write novels, minimum of five lines of text. Not five lines of text being --

Shannon ate a cookie. "Mmm." Said Shannon, "This cookie is good. Can I have another one?"

Dewdrop laid besides her son and curled about him, continuing to purr. Letting herself press against him she remembered lying besides all her kits and watching them sleep. Sinking into the memories she remembered lying close to her kits with her tail over their backs and remembering how her litter kept growing. Starting off with her own two kits and her litter had continued to grow with the additions of Pantherpaw, and Viperkit, and Blazekit, and Featherkit, and Birchpaw, and Willowpaw. And the cat who had helped her get through all the trouble her kits made was Echopool. A deep sadness filled her for she knew he had gone to StarClan a number of moons ago. He had been her true love, though she could never truly be with him. Wiping away tears she sighed and settled her head on her paws preparing to sleep.

I'm not asking for much, just enough to respond to.
Grammar
Good Grammar, or at least understandable. No chat talk, I can't understand it. I understand typos and spelling mistakes, but things like "lyk" for like and "l8r" for later drive me nuts. Unless our characters are texting I don't want to see it.

Things I Don't Want to See

Pretty Posts

Color is fine, using color to seperate out what's being said from the rest of the text, using bold/italics/underline/aligning text to denote characters. All that's fine. It's the pictures and gifs that bother me. My computer, while new, slows down considerably when lots of images and gifs have to appear.
That's it actually. A "pretty" post doesn't make it a semi-lit post. The content does that.

Things I Want to Roleplay

Warrior Cats
Forbidden loves are always nice, but I wouldn't want to make a role-play simply off that. That can be an element, but it can't be the main part. It doesn't have to be traditional warriors roleplay. The cats can have powers or be kittypets or loners or rouges.
Horse and Rider
It's been a pretty long time since I've had a horse and rider role play going on, and though the last one was pretty good it died rather quickly which was quite a bit of a bummer.
Teen Pregnancy
I'd like to do one of these but I'm not looking for anything hardcore- like exaddict or something like that. Maybe just a young couple forced to face the consequences of a decision they made without really thinking about it. Something that follows the length of the pregnancy and the following years as they try to work through their actions.
Teen Romance
I'm thinking something along the lines of two polar opposite teens falling in love- City boy moves to country and meets country girl. Something like that, where the characters come from different worlds and they end up falling in love.
Horse herd/Dog pack/wolf pack
Some sort of animal group. The plot obviously can develop as they go on, but it can't be just them doing normal everyday eating and sleeping. I'd prefer for them to be more natural than fantasy. I mean you can have them say things, but they can't just say hi to a human and the human can understand them. So basically no powers/supernatural animals.
*Strictly animal here please, no humans please

Things I don't want to roleplay

Vampires/werewolves- especially not the Twilight kind. Sure I read them, but I'm no fan of them.
Dragon- No straight dragon to dragon roleplay- maybe a dragon rider roleplay, but not a carbon copy of the Inheritance series
Celebrity- I'm sorry, but I just don't have any interest in celebrities.

What You Can Expect From Me- Okay so let's get started on what you can expect from me. So you can expect 3+ lines with writes block so you shouldn't worry about having something to reply to because I hate writing less, for some reason it makes me feel uncomfortable. When it's no writers block you can usually expect 4+ lines, usually 7 if you give something good to roleplay, but I kind of mirror people so I'm at the same level. Something else that I try to do is I try to add detail because that's my weak spot and I'm working on it so sorry if I don't give enough detail and don't be afraid to tell me, trust me I will try to get it perfect for hours. Another thing is that I can play male and female, and I'm also on 10-15 hours a day since I have no life so I'll be pretty active and I'll try to reply as soon as I can. That's all I can say for now if you have any questions, like I said before just PM me I won't be mean.

What I Expect Of You - Well know let's get with what I expect of you. I expect you to try and write 4+ lines not with short little sentences like 'Bob said. Bob smiled.' ect, I want to see your best and I will give you my best. Something else I expect from you is that you're able to play both genders as I don't like to play just a male and you play just a female, vive versa . Okay so something else that I expect from you is to see a pretty post, if it's centered, that is purely enough because then it makes me feel happy, you don't have to though if you're on the phone or if you really don't want to but I will post pretty posts. Moving along, I want you to not be afraid to PM me if I suddenly start not replying to you because sometimes I'm afraid to post and it takes me about three days to post back, but if you PM me it will boost my confidence back up. I dont know if you could tell but i would love to do a 1x1

A few things to know ~ i wont class myself as low semi lit or anything but i try for at least 3 lines, i want to avoid one liners. But ot really depends on how much you give me to work with Just so you know imtrying very hard to work on my post size among other things so expect me to sometimes post more than 3 lines. Moving along im on almost all day but most of the time during week days im on my ipod so it may take me a tad bit longer to post.

A few things i would like from you is that your nice and understand if i get writers block ever now and again. I dont mind your post size at all small or large of couse small posts still have to give me something to work with or do.
