"Don't ask me," Maxi said, and jumped in as well. Ahhh, water she thought, because when she had been taken it was winter, and she hadn't swam in ages.

Alex finally got up and wondered around. He looked in all the doors, and saw an unoccupied room a few doors down from the first door. He opened it, and looked inside. A pretty plain room, black furniture, brown carpet, tan walls. He opened up the dresser, and got a clean t-shirt and jeans on.

Michael smiled and splashed her. "Your a good swimmer." He dove under water and grinned.

Mariah gets up and begins walking to her room. She walks into Alex's. "Sorry." She mumbled and walked into her room. She sat down on her bed, completely drunk. Ever since they had been kidnapped, Michael had been having fun while she fought depression. The way she fought it was forgetting everything.

"Well, I was on the swim team for three years, and broke three school records. I love to be active," Maxi told Michael when he surfaced. She got out again, and did a perfect dive back in.

Alex saw the girl walk into his room. She looked depressed, and he knew he would be, too, soon. The shock numbed it for now. But he knew that his welfare didn't matter. He just had to look out for Maxi

Michael smiled. "I was a lifeguard for my local pool. My friend Danny.." He trailed off, thinking about his best friend, and wondering what he was thinking right then. "My friend Danny was too." He finished.

Mariah looked up at the ceiling, and she flicked on the TV, not really watching it. She gets up a few minutes later, but stumbles and falls on her face with a loud crash.
