-the girl sat, swinging her legs gently as she kept her gaze on isaac. he was coming up the wall now. scarlett blinked. he definitely went faster than her. she smiled to herself as she watched him. scarlett was hopefully wishing that he'd make it up okay, knowing that he didn't much like the climbing wall. the last thing she needed today was to see someone spread out on the ground or attacked by lava. but isaac seemed to be going up the wall pretty quickly, which was a good thing. he was also careful about it too. scarlett gripped the edge of the wall tighter and cringed just slightly every time she saw him slip just a little bit. this ended up happening a few times before isaac made his way to the top. scarlett watched as she pulled himself up to sit beside her. she reached out to aid him, but he did it perfectly before she could help him. scar looked back over camp half-blood again once isaac was settled. scarlett nodded. "very nice view," she replied. she noticed a figure flying about, and other smaller shape perched a top of it. she watched it near the arena, then drop harmlessly on the edge of it. it was rogue, the pegasi, and a camper. which one? she had no clue. she couldn't tell from this far away. she noticed some others in the arena, but again she had no clue who they were from this distance. scar quickly got bored of her thoughts and turned to look at isaac. she smiled. "if there was an elavator or something to take up here, i would probably take it everyday, though," scarlett said with a laugh. "the climbing wall isn't my favourite." she agreed. scar smirked. "is the climb down too scary for you?" she joked lightly. scarlett ran her hands through her hair and looked down. "i hope i don't make you too mad when i say this," she said slowly. "but you know i never said i wanted to stay up here long.." she mumbled, a touch of amusement in her eyes. she knew that isaac probably didn't want to go back down right away, and that he didn't exactly fancy the climb down. or the climb up. maybe it would be better to talk with isaac down there, anyway. she fixed her gaze back on isaac. "i'll meet you down there!" she said with a laugh. quickly, she twisted herself and her feet placed themselves firmly in two little dips. she took a few more steps down, careful to make sure that she always had her feet in a foothold before putting her weight down on it. her hands slipped into the holds as well. scarlett was quite slow on her way down, but fast enough to avoid massive lava flow. she soon felt her feet brush against the ground, and she jumped off. scarlett ran to the side and quickly grabbed her backpack. she threw it over one shoulder. she held it there with her right hand, left hand hanging at her side. scar looked back up at the other demigod from where she stood. around her, she could hear the movement, the arrows, the swords.. a lot was already going on this morning. scarlett exhaled from her nostrils slowly. it wasn't that early anymore, because if it was scarlett wouldn't be up, but a lot of campers seemed to be early risers. well, not this camper.

after laying on the floor of his cabin for what seemed like hours, lawrence's rib cage finally started to ache. rolling onto his back, the nineteen year old watched as his half sister flipped closed the journal she was scribbling in and slip it under her pillow. he couldn't deny being curious about what was in the book. probably some of her deepest secrets amongst other things. there have been times he thought about reading it, but then he talked himself out of it just as quickly as the thought came. he decided he didn't want to share a cabin with her if she was pissed at him. she'd have the ability to turn his life into a living hell. plus, that would give him more power than his ego could handle and that would just throw more bricks into his backpack. it was already tough enough being a child of the big three. he was supposed to be some role model for all the others to follow and lawrence believed he just didn't have it in him. not to mention he had both geokinesis and aerokinesis. it never made any sense to him. those should have belonged solely to the children of hades and zeus, yet there he was possessing some of that power. however, he had those to an extent. it was only natural that the children of his so-called 'uncles' had them in a much greater toll, but it still struck him as a bit odd. then again, he could only use his powers over and around water and even then, those two were quite energy taxing. thus, he stuck to hydrokinesis mainly. it was more fun to him, anyway.

the longer he lay on his back, the stranger the concept became to him. instead of sitting there for any longer, lawrence decided he should actually get outside before the sun set. exiting the cabin, lawrence shoved his hands into the pockets of his pants. he wasn't really sure what he wanted to do. the stables were always an option, and all of the creatures that resided in there seemed to be happy when someone who could understand them came in. although, the daughters of aphrodite were usually tending to the horses and pegasi and he didn't really feel like being forced to accept fashion advice from them. they'd surely tear him down and rebuild him as a completely different person if they had the chance. he knew they meant well, but it wasn't exactly them they were trying to impress. he could go his entire life being disliked by them and it wouldn't make a difference to him. sure, he didn't really fancy the idea of being hated by someone, but it wasn't going to be the end of the world. well, unless calithea was the person in question. he wasn't entirely sure he liked the idea of her despising him. after all, the daughter of ares was always a bit alluring to him. he wasn't sure why, either. after all, even without being charmed by her she'd still beat him in combat a thousand times over. she had the power to bury him with a single tap to his shoulder. that alone should have sent up every red flag, but it didn't. if anything, it helped draw him to her. but with a girl like that, there was no way he'd have any chance at all.

the sound of water lapping at the shore draw lawrence from his thoughts. the lake. that was always an option for a child born of the sea. his oceanic eyes lit up brightly, a sly little smirk forming on his lips as he saw presley and annie floating among the water. he couldn't help but notice the waves. well, the lack there-of. perhaps that would make the experience of his fellow campers a bit more fun. quietly making his way towards the water line, lawrence dipped a hand into the body of liquid before him. he made gentle circular motions, causing little waves to form. they traveled towards the shore, softly buffeting whatever was in its path. the demi-god's eyes moved to a rock that poked up a small ways in, untouched by the little waves he was just created.

stripping off his shoes, lawrence made his way to it, seating himself on the top of it. a few fish flocked towards him, whispering their complaints about the sea grass, or telling him of grandiose adventures they had gone on the day before. the lake wasn't much of a place for adventuring, but he couldn't really expect much from tiny little minnows. to them, the lake was like the ocean. it would take a lifetime for them to explore it all, and these tiny realizations alone made him smile. hearing what it was like from something so little was an experience he wished he could share with the entire world. it seemed like no one really thought of what it was like being something so tiny. of course, it only seemed that way. if anyone had, he had never heard anything about it.

ANALEIGHanna was waist deep in the water when she could see presley through the corner of her eye. "is it cold?" he asked, annie turned around, "maybe a little. it's about 75 degrees." the grey eyed girl said, however presley decided to jump in without even caring about the tempature. she waited for the boy to come up, then properly greeting him. "so, you particularly like swimming." she asked, trying to get a conversation started, so it wouldn't be so awkward. presley was a decent guy, she had talked to him a few times. he was definitely not like what people say of zeus kids, not bossy at all. theodora, she did not know her much.
ANALEIGHshe looked around, "i wonder where all the poseidon kids are, normally this place is swarming with the," but before she could finish lawrence came along, it didn't surprise her one bit, "oh, well. here they come." she waved to the poseidon, analeigh didn't really know him that well, but it was polite. wondering what time it was anna looked at her waterproof watch, 10:45. she remembered chiron saying that there would be an announcement at lunch today, something about capture the flag and such.

leo sat on his bed, he was quite bored and had no idea what to do about it. maybe i should go to the forge, he thought, or the training arena. yes, the arena. fighting always took the stress out of things. rapidly leonardo keegan stood up and bolted out of the cabin. as he was approaching the arena, he spotted ace, the girl he'd been in love with for all his time here and some apollo girl. "um, hi ace." he greeted her with a smile. he picked up a sword, suddently realizing he had forgotten his swordtallahassee, it was a strange name for a sword, but he liked it. then leonardo swung the sword, and when it incountered the dummy, it's head fell off.
LEONARDO"so, do you usually spend your time here?" he asked the girl, ace seemed to be fully in the groove, because she picked up two knives and stabbed the dummy in the heart and face. she must have been angry.

-------isaac looked out over the camp, relieved to be out of the way of the lava. the view was pretty nice; he could see all the way to the strawberry fields on the opposite side of the camp. there was the big house to his left and long island sound to his right. and then of course, there was the whole camp laid out before them. most campers seemed to be up, already involved in some activity. "as you probably noticed, it's not my favourite either." he was brought out of his thoughts by scarlett talking, but he wasn't too pleased once he heard what she had to say. "you're kidding, right?" he groaned, once again looking back down the way he'd come. if there was one thing he hated worse than the climb up, it was the climb down. but it had to be done. it wasn't like he could just fall down to the ground. well, he could, but it would most likely result in his death.
-------the demigod sat there for a few moments, watching as scarlett made her way down the wall. she was good, took her time and barely slipped once. "here goes nothing..." he muttered, steeling himself for the journey back down. twisting himself around, he made sure to kick his foot into the hold before moving down. he did this every time as he progressed down the face of the wall. sure, it resulted in his stubbed toe crying out in pain more than once, but at least he knew the foothold was safe. hand holds were easier to find as he could see where they were. isaac was about half way down when he risked looking down to see where scarlett was. the daughter of dionysus was already on the ground, a bagpack thrown over one shoulder. "next time we decide to have a conversation," he began, pausing as he took the time to find more holds for both his hands and feet. "i'm gonna wait for you to come to me." when he was roughly six feet or so above the ground, the son of hermes jumped. he landed on his feet, but decided to drop and roll, absorbing the impact easily. his ankles tingled slightly from the landing, but he quickly shook it off as he got to his feet. brushing himself down, isaac then turned to face his fellow camper. "there, that wasn't so bad." he admitted with a smile as he checked for any burns. there was a minor burn on the back of his hand, but thankfully he'd moved it away from the lava before any serious damage could be done. that didn't mean it didn't hurt. he tested his hand, curling his fingers into a fist; but, apart from the pain at stretching the skin, it still worked fine. "any more crazy ideas, scarlett?" he asked with a laugh, taking a moment to look around. the camp was getting noisier as more campers got up. combat training could be heard from the arena, splashes of water from the lake; it seemed camp half blood had woken up for the day.

xoxokat woke up early as usual, but stayed in the aphrodite cabin for about an hour or so before heading out. she sighed as she sat on her bed, hannah, her half sister, was already up and about, which left kat in the cabin alone. it was fine by her. she didn't mind a little quiet time. walking over to her dresser, kat pulled open her clothes drawer and not a lot of shirts, pants, anything, were in there. shaking her head, " man, i have to get her back sooner or later " she mumbled, knowing that scarlett {or so she thought} was always up for stealing her clothes. that was another reason why she stayed in the cabin for a while. to make sure the daughter of dionysus and the others won't pull a prank on her and make her embarrass herself in front of the whole camp. just because kat was the daughter of aphrodite and probably the most fashionable apart from her sister didn't mean that you had to go to her to steal clothes from.

xoxopulling out a sweatshirt and a pair of jeans, kat closed her drawer and stepped outside. quite a beautiful day. perfect for some exercise. heading over to the volleyball courts, she acknowledged some other demigods and hopped over the river to the other side. not a lot of people were playing volleyball it seemed, and it would be neat if they had more people to play an actual game.

-Theadora finished with her small collection of arrows, she lowered the bow and glanced at each target; an arrow stood in or a good centimeter away from the stock red center of the target. Her shooting was not a natural skill like the apollo campers, it took a good many weeks when Teddy started camp to get an arrow in the center of a target, and when she did, she felt seriously proud inside her coarse self. Teddy loved the feel of the handle of the bow against her palm, the strong pull of the string, and the thrust the arrow made before soaring parallel to the ground. It wasn't the same feeling she got when dealing with a sword or any other weapon; her precision was always spot on and fast, swords required you to make use of everything'; even the closeness that you had with an opponent. Teddy could deal with such a thing, but it was the bow and arrow as her choice weapon. Seemingly satisfied, she walked about and collected each of her arrows and placed them back where they belonged, as well as the bow. Theadora stretched, hearing a satisfying crack in the base of her spine where it was sore. She pulled out and slowly turned her head around towards the blue and almost cloudless sky; the day had warmed nicely, campers could be heard, shouts from the climbing wall had carried on towards the archery field and the sounds of water penetrated the air. Chiron had announced recently that there would be a capture the flag game, Theadora huffed at the thought and glanced around towards the cabins, she particularly enjoyed the thrill of the game but working together wasn't exactly her thing. However she did show involuntarily leadership skills without meaning to, she could thank daddy for that. It always brought a tinge of rouge to her face whenever she gave an order to a fellow camper, and it was even more strange of the camper to do so without an argument. Many of these outcries had come absently when she was spying around from the trees, Teddy only realized she had said something and blown her cover before it was too late. Luckily, her commands were met and accomplished, whoever had listened would look up at the tree with a grin of thanks to find that Teddy had darted off to another hidey hole. The girl sighed through her nose, pushing her thoughts on the game away and deciding to go check out the lake and maybe cool off over there, her idea immediately changed when she saw how many people were there. Her own half sibling had jumped in and the daughter of hades was swimming around just as gracefully and beautifully as one of the Poseidon kids, Teddy sighed again and looked around to see if there was any alternative, but she shrugged off the fact that she did not feel like socializing today and removed her shoes and rolled up her jeans. Teddy placed her legs in the water and watched the other swim with impassive silvery green eyes, she leaned back on her hands'enjoying the slightly lapping water at her knees. Theadora tucked a loose black strand of hair behind her ear and stared stonily out towards the distance, she could hear angry outcries from the arena and the shouts made the corner of Teddy's lip rise into a thoughtful little smirk. She recognized Scar's yells even from here, that particular camper was quite something when it came to tousling around with weapons and dummies, Teddy chuckled softly and made her legs sway a bit in the water, a few minnows passing by scurried away towards Lawrence who seemed to be paying close attention to something in the water. Probably talking to minnows Theadora thought while turning her gaze away and blowing her uneven black bangs away from her left eye.
