Blue Sorrows
Blue's ears went back a little, showing her discomfort. Yet she kept at her pace, a brisk, fast trot, her eyes looking around for danger. When she could no longer feel the presence of the lion, she slowed to a walk, walking along the river edge, looking for a safe place to cross. Seeing a sand bank a few metres up, she walked towards it, stopped, before crossing over the sand, her hocks barely becoming wet.

Dark Night
Night gave a friendly nicker as Aramiah came down, accompanying the sound with a gentle nudge in her neck. Greeting over, he turned back to the intruder mare, watching her stonily.

Natasha glared at the water.. though it may not have been very wide, in her eyes, is looked like it went on forever. However, very reluctanly she jumped in and out of the water until she reached dry land where she zoomed quickly meters away from the water ears pinned.

Aramia smiled nudging him back she then snorted at the mare and then lowered her head as she grazed.

Rogue of the Night

Rogue followed behind, narrowing his eyes at Natasha in concern. She couldn't not go near the water, they were the lake herd, after all. River borne horses were what most of them became. After he had crossed the river, he nudged Natasha quietly, before throwing his head to point towards the river, as a questioning whinny was issued out his muzzle, his tail lashing a little.

Blue Sorrows
Blue stopped, and turned around, her head tilted in concern. In one gaze towards Rogue, she questioned what was wrong, her ears pricked, curious. The ebony mare had stopped, but not only in worry, she believed they would be quite safe, as far as predators went.

She pinned her ears stomping her hoof and stepping back. "Because..." She said... other than her name, it was her first word to him. "Because.. I.. I just.. You'd understand if I could tell you" She snorted gently and looked away embarrassed and frightened.

Rogue of the Night

Seeing Blue, Rogue shook his head, telling Blue it was alright, he was just a little concerned, not about her nor the herd, but more specifically, Natasha. This was seen through how he then looked at Natasha, touching his velvet nose gently to her withers, comforting her. Every single time, she seemed frightened or angry, and he wanted her to just relax for once. He urged her to tell him, nudging her quietly.

She snorted and pinned her ears shivvering at the thought.. "fine.." she said softly.. speaking quietly, not wanting everyone to know.. she sighed and spoke.. "When i was little.. me and my brother were playing by the river.. Mother said 'be careful' My brother as usual said 'we were'.. he took one wrong step... into the river and even though it wasn't rushing it was deep and there was no way out if you were a foal.. he drowned before my eyes, before any of the mares realised he was not with me it was too late... not even my father cared that day.. my mother was a little upset, the mares didn't care cause it wasn't their foal.. but my dad... he didn't give a stuff about his foals... and.. i.. i just.. everytime.. i touch the water all i see is a dead body.. and it.. i feel sometimes like it was some how my fault.. i don't know why.. but i was there and i didn't even jump in to try and help him.. i just froze..." she was crying softly now She snorted angrily, angry with herself she stepped back and away from rouge.. ears pinned against her neck, not in aggression though.

Rogue of the Night

Rogue nodded. Though his herd viewed the water as a life giver, they knew it could easily take lives as well. He nuzzled Natasha to comfort her, nosing her gently.

Natasha smiled and nuzzled him back. Though he never spoke but a few words, and he always used body language, he defiantly knew how to comfort one, especially one with a past like natashas. Asha smiled softly, she overwelmed in happiness that he didn't say anything like 'im sorry for your loss' because that only makes it worse. She smiled gently also glad someone finally knew and actually cared about her, that was the other reason for her skittishness. Shed been in 2 or 3 herds, none of which cared for her. Rouge however, was the first to know of her past.
