Story: Wind was originally owned by a little girl. The girl absolutely adored Wind and would always tie ribbons in his hair and around his hooves. The little girl died after a long illness, and Wind was devistated at the loss of his best friend. The girls parents could no longer afford to keep Wind, so they contacted a popular ranch that they had heard about. The man one the phone told them that he would be honored to give Wind a permanent home. After Wind had been at the ranch for some time the man contacted the little girls parents. He told them that Wind seemed to be dipressed, and would not eat. The man asked if there was something that might make Wind happy. The girls parents told the man about how their daughter had always tied ribbons in Winds hair, and they volunteered to bring the very ribbons that the little girl had used. Wind could still smell his best friend on the ribbons as they were tied into his mane and tail, and it made him happy. Everyday the ribbons are tied to Wind and everyday Wind remebers the best friend who still runs with him.

Story: It started when he was born on a paint breeding ranch on the date of December fourteenth. He was raised by his mother until he was weaned and old enough to be officially sold to his new home which was to a nice lady at a large stable when he was a little over a year. She later was forced to sell him due to overcrowding and his developing allergies. He could no longer be used for the trail rides through the meadow because of the extreme allergen. He was sold to a man who then sold him on a black market where a bad man bought him. For three months the man rarely fed him, never rode him, and left him in the cold of winter. Later he was discovered by a lady who reported the issue to the animal cops and they got a warrant to take the horse from him. When he was nursed back to health in a foster home, he was put up for adoption and a nice family adopted him after going through and passing the barn check and requirements to follow through with the adoption process. The family consisted of a ten year old girl named, Lacey and her parents. Lacey has owned him since and takes constant care of him. Hence how he got the ribbon in his hair. From her loving actions she laced the ribbon through his hair to make him more handsome then he already was.

Story: Alvaro was an incredibly show-offish horse, even as a colt. Prancing around the fillies, he attracted a lot of attention. He was a beautiful foal and he knew it. He would play with the others in his field, but secretly believed that he was superior to them because of his finely sculpted features and soft coat. So it was no surprise to him when a spoiled little Spanish girl named Lola demanded that her father buy her that horse- no, no eso, eso, con el pelo largo- and brought him home. He was only two years old at the time, but they found that he was intelligent and learned tricks quickly. Within another two years, he became the star of the annual Spanish horse parade, and to prepare for this each year, Lola wove ribbons into his mane and tail, and tied them around his hocks. He was known as Alvaro, el Caballo de los Angeles; Alvaro, the Angel Horse, and although he is maturing now, he is still rather show-offish, and he is quite the ladies' man.

Story: Question, as a young horse, could not keep his nose out of anything. He would play in the water trough, in the mud, in the grooming box. He never stood still and never paid attention when he was scolded or shooed away. One day, he ignored his mother's warnings, and approached the owner's little girl, who was sitting by herself, with a basket and her doll. He nosed her, a bit too hard, and she got upset, and nearly cried. But, rather than throw a tantrum, the girl turned around and started to get her revenge, weaving a bunch of brightly colored, frilly ribbons through his mane. He snorted, surprised, and dashed away, but when the girl kept coming back, soon he grew used to the ribbon-weaving, and even enjoyed it. Now the little girl is his rider, and they spend time nearly every day bonding over the ribbons, no matter the color or style they might be! Isn't he handsome?
