He grinned and sat down next to her, his knees less than an inch away from hers. He leant back, his fingers shifting through the grass, his weight on his arms. He looked up and closed his eyes, letting the wind blow his hair onto his smooth soft features. He sighed. 'I don't understand, why us?' he said, thinking outloud. 'Why are we still here?'

[corpsewallet]

"I don't know, but be happy."
(bye, gotta go)

Alexis ran a hand through her hair and with her other one, shook his hand polietly.
"Alexis. Just call me Alex though." She smiled her hand gently slipping out of Damon's after shaking hands. "I usually start dreaming when I come here. And it often results in something like this." Alex's sweet, soft laugh filled the air quietly. Her green eyes looked at him curiously before sitting down in the long soft grass. A small smile played on her lips and she bit her bottom lip, slightly embarrassed by running into him full on. A cool breeze picked up strands of her hair, blowing them in the wind. Alexis remembered coming here as a child, always amazed by how many flowers there were. When she looked up, she spotted a big shady tree with a swing. Alex tilted her head. That was the swing her dad made for her. Slowly she stood up, gazing at it after not noticing it for years. Shame washed over her. Her father was gone and the one thing to remember him by, she had forgotten. She promised him before he died she would always remember him and she forgot. Until now.
"I'm sorry Dad." She whispered to herself.

Raquel glanced over at Tamesis, suddenly wishing that she was the one sitting next to him. She blinked, her brow furrowing slightly. Why was she thinking that? She shook her head slightly, then focused on his words. "I think we're drawn to it," she murmured, glancing down at the daisy in her hands. "I don't think we can help but come back here, looking for answers to our unspoken questions." She sighed, then let the daisy blow from her fingers, her eyes following its journey across the meadow.

Alex shook her head, coming back to reality.
"Sorry about that." She said, blushing. Then with a slight smile, she sat down and the swing and started swinging. It was only minor though, nothing to high. It was just like rocking back and forth on a rocking chair. Alexis tilted her head, looking at Damon, once again looking him over. She wondered why she kept doing that but couldn't help it. Alex blushed and looked down, holding back a giggle. Her green eyes twinkled almost at the memories of coming here every afternoon as a child. She used to love it here. And even at this age, she still did.

[Kites]

Tamesis watched the daisy float in the air and he sighed again. 'I guess your right, but how is a bunch of flowers going to help solve our problem?' He rolled over onto his front, so he was in the middle of the two girls. Leaning on his elbows, he picked up a daisy and inspected it. 'Nope, nothing unusual, just a daisy' he said, spinning it between his fingers. He let go of the flower and hung his head. 'Though it does feel strange here' he said, without moving his head from between his arms.

Damon shrugged a bit, then leaned against the tree next to where she was swinging. He really didn't mind when she looked him over...because it didn't look or feel like she was disapproving. He smiled a little at the thought, and his eyes flickered from her to the field, staring across it, his eyes going slightly blank. The problem with having memories here? He didn't have any at all. Some things looked familiar, or sounded familiar, like the sound of a creek rushing not far from the tree, or the birds singing so loudly in the branches above, despite the fact that him and Alex where underneath them.

Raquel watched him with a small, sad smile, but then that disappeared into a look of utter pain. She inhaled sharply through clenched teeth, and hunched over, curling up and pressing her hands hard against the sides of her head. Her eyes squeezed shut, and she seemed to not breathe for at least a minute before inhaling in another sharp hiss. The memories were coming back to her, and they flooded into her brain like a full-force tsunami wave.

[Kites]

'Raquel?' Tamesis looked up at her sharp intake of breath. He stared for a minute before sitting up, and putting a hand on her back, rubbing it. He shuffled towards her, eyes filled with concern. He looked at her, the memories of his own childhood fading away.

[Harpy•]

Raquel's head began to throb on rhythmic pulses, squeezing her brain tightly before releasing it, then squeezing it again. She hissed more quietly this time, and then groaned, her fingers shaking when they slowly relaxed their hold on her head. She breathed through her nose for a few moments, then took her hands completely away, sure now that her brain wasn't going to explode like she thought a moment ago. She slowly moved her head so she could look at Tamesis, and then gave a small, weak smiled, clearing her throat when she felt a cough coming on. That's when she became aware of his hand rubbing her back, and looked down, blushing slightly. "'M okay," she said quietly, then cleared her throat again when her voice came out funny.

'You sure?' he said, not moving his hand from her back. His green eyes met her blue ones and he smiled reassuringly. He realised that his hand was still on her back and he dropped it to his side. His fingers felt empty for some reason. He couldn't work out why though...
