I struggles with what he reminded me of, I thought of fire Poi set against the sunset but couldn't find a good enough picture to express it, I thought of peach brownies (yum) but in the end I settled on my first thought, he reminds me of a sunset in fall, that perfect time of day where the sunset hits the crisp golds, browns and reds of the trees and gives them that magical glow that makes you stop, stare and smile at the beauty of it all. Exactly what happened when I clicked on his image.

Chiaki is a lovable little ruffian, despite his elegant looks he is quite the little munchkin, embodying the playful spirit of his favorite season, autumn of course! He's cheeky, playful, curious and friendly but he has a thoughtful side when he's interested in something and can be quite serious and inquisitive. You’ll often find him chasing falling leaves or dipping his paws in cool streams.

Mapel has a compulsive obsession with collecting leaves that share the same colours as her own flamboyant tail and mane. However, this hoarding of hers is often disrupted by what fuels her addiction. You see, she's extraordinarily klutzy. Poor at keeping balance and even worse at watching where she's going. She'll collect a dazzling pile of the most beauteous leaves only to burn them down with the heat of her tail a few moments after. Tragically, she continuously hoards leaves into her den, only to have her collection ruined by herself. Thankfully, as fall only occurs once a year, there is a limit to when her 'leaf hunting' season starts and ends.

Fuego is energetic and feisty, she's always moving and has a sharp tongue. Although she enjoys the company of others, she has a temper that will flare up if something displeases her. Among her friends she is the leader, and can be quite bossy, dragging you around on strange little adventures even against your will. Finally, she is stubborn. She has learned that insisting repeatedly and refusing to budge is the best way to get what she wants, and she utilizes her skill at it often.

Froth is a playful, frisky little thing. He's always hopping around, trying to attract as much attention as he can. Not that many can deny those big, shiny, suspiciously innocent auburn eyes. Oh yes, this also leads me to mention that he's quite the actor! A sly dog, that's what he is. Always fluttering those thick lashes, snuggling only to flee at the next second. Somehow he even manages to get lazy people up to chase him. Now if only he could be that enthusiastic when it came to baths...

Plus it's always quite a feat to get the little ankle-biter to calm down. Usually it takes either a bed-time story or a lullaby. I egt lucky when he happens to tire himself out all on his own!
