Lee stretched and yawned, climbing to his feet and wiping his eyes. Avatar would certainly never grow old for him, thus all of the sci-fi action. The Avain opened his eyes, still slightly crusty from watching a TV screen for about two hours, and gingerly stepped around the mass of blankets and pillows strewn around the living room. Since Lee was still extremely new to the flock, he didn't even have a place to sleep anymore. He noticed when he walked by, the night had fallen over the house heavily. He shrugged his shoulders and picked his way down the hallway, heading towards Fang. "Fang," he said, brushing his shaggy hair out of his eyes. "Where should I sleep?"

Fang looked at Max as she touched his shoulder, and then turned his warm gaze to Lee. "You can take the couch in the living room," he said quietly. He grabbed a few blankets from the hall closet and handed one to Lee saying, "Here you go."
He left the pile of blankets on the floor so the other new Avians could grab an extra one if they wanted. Then he spread out his tall form on the floor, leaving the couch for Lee. He pulled a blanket over himself and turned onto his side. His black wings were relaxed, so they were extended slightly, one resting flaccidly on top of the other. Today had been a long, long day. So many events had taken place that all his mind wanted to do was rest.
The boy closed his eyes as his dark hair fell just over his brow, and tried to fall asleep.

Kirose walked back toward the house after making afew adjustments to her picture on the beach. Instead of hair that hung past her waist, she changed it so her hair was hanging just below her shoulders, with cropped bangs that delicately framed her face. It was a more girlish look than her normally rugged style. With a sigh, Kirose spread her wings and flew up to the roof, landing with a light thud. Her back rested against the chimney as she pulled out her knife and started cutting her hair to fit the face on the beach. Her hair would be back to it's normal length within afew weeks, it grew pretty rapidly so she had to cut it every now and then. She smirked, when she finally finished, and tucked her knife back in it's holder. Her eyes drifted closed, but her mind was still uneasy. What's making me so weirded out by California..... She thought, but fell asleep in the same instant.

Lee nodded and took the blanket, whispering his gratitude. "Thanks," he said, turning around and walking down the hall again to the couch. The Avian cloapsed on the couch with a exausted sigh, sinking into the soft, cushy mass. "Ahh." He muttered to himself, lifting his legs off the floor and stretching his lanky frame across the couch. He was tired from the journey he had made before -- flying from New York to all the way over here. He closed his eyes and made the attempt to sleep, his mind already filling with the velvety softness of sleep.

(I was thinking -- may I delete Lee's powers and add a couple new ones? I don't remember what I put for his powers and I don't think they were ones that I wanted. ^^; May I?)

Kirose opened one eye after a moment, drowsily looking up at the sky. She yawned and stretched her arms up over her head. She could never sleep for long periods of time, that just never came to her. She shrugged, and looked around the room, then down at the yard. She put her hands behind her head and sighed, looking up at the still starry sky. Everyone must be asleep....the lucky ducks. She thought with a smirk, and hopped to the ground. Might as well do something useful while I'm awake....hunting is always good. Her mind rambled over the numerous animals in the forest, and fish in the ocean. Since Iggy's such a good cook, I'll give him a challenge.....

I left the girls' room, not wanting to sleep just yet. I made my way into the main room, where avian bodies were scattered all over the place. I suppressed a laugh, then paused when I saw Fang. I stood there for a few moments, just looking at him, his perfect face, now smooth and open in his sleep. I blinked and then tore my gaze away, walking to the back door and quietly opening it, then closing it silently behing me. I made my way to the cliff face, then sat on the very edge, leaning back on my hands, my eyes on the moon. I inhaled deeply, closing my eyes for a moment and breathing the cool night air. I missed doing things like this; and I was going to miss it even more now that we were going to head to California.

Kirose didn't turn around when she heard the door open, she just continued into the woods. She had her knife in one hand as she made a slow silent pace through the trees. Her eyes were on the ground, scanning it for anything suitible. There was a rustleing in the trees above her, like something was falling. Kirose paused and looked up in time to see a scaly belly, before she was flat on her back with the creature on her stomach. She blinked in realization as she recognized the scaled creature. "An iguana?!" She screamed.

A quiet scream stirred Fang from his light sleep. He blinked and got to his feet. The scream hadn't sounded like anyone was in trouble, but he walked out the front door and walked into the woods where the scream had come from. In the darkness of the woods, Fang kept himself alert as he walked forward. "Kirose?" he asked, seeing a form on the ground and knowing that he hadn't seen her among the bodies strewn across the living room.
As he walked closer, he realized that it was her. "Is everything alri--what the heck is that?" he had started to ask if everything was alright but cut himself off as he saw the iguana on her stomach.

Kirose tilted her head back slightly so she could see Fang, then looked back down at the iguana. "It's an iguana...." She muttered, and watched the large reptile as it just sat there comfortably. Male iguana..about 4'5''...25 pounds. She thought, then looked back up at Fang. "Are iguanas even native to these parts?"

"Uh, no, they're not," he replied bemusedly, looking up at the tree above her considering it looked like it had just fallen on her. Unless she had a peculiar way of bonding with animals that she found out of nowhere...
"Well, it doesn't look blood-thirsty," he murmured, moving his gaze to the iguana. He walked closer to Kirose, nudging the reptile off her stomach gently and offering a hand to help her up.
