There is a branch of the government labeled Dusk. This branch is one that tries it's best to operate in complete secrecy. It's difficult, but they do it by using the most secretive of agents - ones who will not break word to someone on the outside. Agents who generally have no outside family. The whole branch is run by a maximum of ten members and a minimum of four at a time. This group work and fight together. When one dies, the rest have a month to recruit the next group of people who will take over Dusk's operations.

The next group of people have been selected from the best in the business, or rather, businesses... Criminals given the best incentives do work brilliantly. The team has been selected from a wide variety of people from across the globe. This time, there are eight members of the group. People who were 'born to kill'. Assassins. And people with specific genetic faults, or rather - enhancements. Genetic defects are a specialty of Dusk - one member of the last team had a genetic default in the eye, one that was enhanced to give the bearer the ability to see through doors.

Dusk's secret business is within murder. The death of enemies, or of people who pose such a terrible risk to citizens and the future of the human race. That's why the assassins of Dusk are deadly, lethal people. People who can ruin you in an instant.

Elizabeth is not an assassin. She is a surveillance

Elizabeth Kessler, unlike most other members of Dusk is not an assassin. She is simply the surveillance operative and doesn't attend the field on missions. She stays at base. Due to not being an assassin, it makes her more trust worthy and she is able to make strong bonds with her team members. She reports news stories of high interest straight to her team members and gives them details that the general public isn't allowed to know. She is also known for doing a bit of sneaking around the news station and finding out extra information about things that would have never usually gotten into the public eye.
Originally from Ohio in America, Elizabeth moved to England with her parents and younger sister in 1998. She was hired as a television presenter two years ago and is already a hit with crowds across Europe and the USA. She is an influential woman and is also known for a lot of charity work that she does.
As Elizabeth is not an assassin, simply surveillance it is doubted that any family she has would be at any risk so therefore there was no problem hiring someone with extended family for her job role. Her parents Jessica and Theo are both solicitors. Her eldest brother Tyler remains in the USA, Elizabeth hasn't seen him for years and he's been pretty much kicked out of the family due to his drunken behavior. Her younger sister is nineteen and in university.

Name: Richard Thwaite.
Age: 24.
Occupation: Health and Safety Officer.
Hair: Brown.
Eyes: Brown.
Specialism: Richard's pretend job opens an incredible
amount of doors. you simply have to flash your card and
say - Government Health and Safety Official. Richard
has the ability to sneak in and out of places because of
this. He uses this to his advantage both for surveillance
and to let his partners into places so they can take care
of the murders.

Richard Thwaite is the second non-assassin based personnel in the group. He used to work as a Health and Safety Officer in the government, and still does as his front for Dusk. He has managed to get into a lot of high profile places with his 'magic' health and safety ID card. One of his favorite uses for the ID card was how it got him and three friends into the Royal Wedding - though that hasn't been officially confirmed yet.
Richard is also the member who goes undercover, he is a 'master of disguise'. He has previously pretended to be a Prince, a Duke, an Earl, a Lord, a popstar, a wheelie bin, a journalist... He's brilliant with accents, and can do pretty much every single accent except from Spanish which escapes him for some reason. He speaks fourteen different languages, and has an IQ of 145. He's very intelligent and this only adds to the convincing disguises that he is able to create.
He doesn't have any other close family than his younger brother Aaron who lives back in Richard's home country of Ireland. Richard moved from Ireland when he was eighteen after being offered a place at the university of London. He wasted no time then applying for a job in the health and safety industry. His brother Aaron currently resides in university, studying economics. The brothers don't get along much - which is why Richard moved out of the country so long ago.

in dusk. She is simply a waitress so she can keep a
normalish life as well as her life within Dusk. Her job
could possibly change is a position opens up somewhere
that will be a help to Dusk if Tanya can get into it.

As a young girl, Tanya grew up in China and Japan - having her mother live in China while her father lived in Japan. She married at the age of nineteen, in love with a man called Kai and pregnant with his child. The marriage may have worked brilliantly if not for the problem of Kai's father ordering someone to go and kill his son's new bride to avoid the marriage. Instead, the assassin missed and murdered Kai. Tanya isn't quite sure what she managed to do that night, as she can only remember hearing a gun shot. A psychologist says that the trauma she suffered that day has caused her mind to repress the memories and force her to forget.
Tanya moved to England a month later, wanting to get a job so she could raise her child. She found work in a cafe, and has worked there ever since. Her child, a boy, was named Kai. The child is currently six, and Tanya would do anything to protect him... So she spent quite a bit of her wages training with things like shotguns and learning a martial art.
The government picked up on Tanya not long ago, and she's gone through extensive training in a wide variety of guns. she works for Dusk, and is allowed to keep a small pistol on her at all times - she calls it her insurance just in case anyone tries to kill her son.

Specialism: Being a model isn't that much a help to Nathan's
job in Dusk, it's pretty much just a way for him to flounce
his ego. However his good looks, charm and way with words
bring him close to women who might be next on Dusk's list
for a kill.
Weapon: Poison.

Nathan was originally from New York, and has appeared in a wide variety of TV shows in many countries. He's a model and actor who manages to get into many after parties and high caliber parties. His ability to walk in the open in a party, talk to people and drop some poison into their glass. He and Richard Thwaite often work together when it comes to parties like this. The pair of them often hunt around parties to make sure that they find their prey.
Nathan has a mother only, the woman has been institutionalized as a schizophrenic. Nathan pretends that he doesn't have parents to the press, and keeps his mother secret because he would like her to be able to have a private life and not be all across newspapers.
He and Jane Amber Peters are in a relationship and live in a house together. They live in a small apartment in central London. The pair of them have been in a relationship for the last seven months.
Nathan doesn't do much with technical things, he is quite terrible when he comes to understanding laptops and mobile phones - he can't really understand technology and prefers to read books and play musical instruments while the rest of his team use the technology. However, he is open to learning and will quite happily sit and let people try and teach him how to use things.

As a young girl, Jane was bought up in Russia by an organisation separate to the government. She was kept locked up all throughout the training and was trained in several martial arts, to speak several languages, and to fight with a variety of weapons. Jane journeyed to England when she was nineteen to kill the first person on her list. A man called Micheal Thomas. She was stopped by the previous agents of Dusk and put into rehabilitation.
Jane took less than three months to be rehabilitated, already willing to work for an organisation that let her have some freedom in her life. She and Nathan Jay Houston are in a relationship currently, which makes her even more willing to work for Dusk.
Jane is currently on a kill list for another organisation, and has to fend off murderers every now and then because people come to attempt to kill her every now and then.
Due to being locked away for several years, Jane is behind on crazes, fashion and how to speak to people properly in public. She doesn't know a lot about talking to people and tends to have a habit of just coming straight out with things rather than bothering about other people's emotions and feelings. She is learning though, slowly, and Nathan is helping.

recruited because of their special abilities. He has a defect
gene in his muscles that makes his muscles stronger if he
wants them to get stronger.
Weapon: Bare fist fighting.

John Doe doesn't know much about his life - because he woke up from a coma only six months ago and hasn't remembered anything from his previous life. He doesn't even remember his name or age. He calls himself John Doe as a tribute to unnamed coma patients. He speaks with an Icelandic accent and seems to have knowledge of how to speak French and Icelandic as well as English.
The first thing he knew about his powers was when he stumbled out of his bed and managed to fall on the table next to him - which sadly for the table meant it died a tragic death of being squashed to death. The table broke and when he used the wall to haul himself up, he put his fist through it.
He's been working with a personal trainer to control his new found powers and also to get himself a job at a nearby zoo just to help him settle back into the world. He has taken a particular liking to a tiger cub that was born a few months before it should have and has been looked after by keepers because it's mother abandoned it. He calls the cub Marie, having made a connection with the cub because it relaxes him as he struggles with a world that confuses him. Now part of Dusk, he's bought himself an apartment just outside the city and has two rescue kittens called Brandy and Bobbin.

Occupation: Bartender.

Specialism: It's in her genes to kill. Rae is one of the people
with a little extra spice in their genes - she likes to call it
extra spice. She has a defect gene in her dna, one that
affects her whole chemical make-up and is a terror to try
and control. She hasn't quite got the hang of it yet, but she
can give her body no substance, allowing her to phase
through solid objects.

Caught by Dusk for her less than holy operations, Rae was told that she either hacks for the government or goes to prison. She decided that was a fair deal and now works as the seventh member of Dusk.
She also works at a bar in the middle of London, and has a brilliant ability of finding herself trouble. Sort of like... Overhearing conversations, then being dragged out onto the street. She overhead a conversation between several members of a criminal organisation and happened to stupidly recommend that they hand themselves into the police. She was dragged out onto the street and shoved in front of a car - that's when she learned about her defect gene.
Rae is one of those people who has a tongue that's running sixty miles ahead. She's got the gift of talking like a hyper person who won't shut their face. She also seems to have no worries for her own life, seeing herself as untouchable with her powers, why would she need to be fearful? She leaps before she looks, insults before she cares, and rides a motorbike as if she has a death wish. The defect gene also pumps her full of adrenaline letting her be faster than other people at things like typing on a keyboard and hacking into things... This however does not mean that she's in anyway stronger than anyone else, nor that she can handle a fight - she doesn't know how to throw a punch at all. The best she can do is run for her life.
She has a reputation online as 'The White Rabbit' and is well known amongst hackers for once hacking into the controls of the London eye and making it spin backwards for half an hour at 50mph while flashing lights at everything.

Specialism: It's in his genes to kill. In Thomas's genes is the
amazing ability to alter body weight and gravity. He can, for
instance, take the gravity connection to the floor and put it
in his hands and then walk on his hands up a wall. In fact, he's
often found hanging from ceilings like a bat.

Part of a street gang since he was thirteen, Thomas learnt how to do parkour. He also learnt to fight with the Katar. He was raised on the streets and has no known family. He originates from Scotland and has a heavy Scottish accent, but was bought down to London by Dusk. Despite having his own apartment now from his wages from Dusk, Thomas still lives out on the streets every now and then, preferring to be 'free'. He has also been known to camp out on top of Dusk headquarters, he likes to look at the stars and says that the best fun in the world is to camp out in a tent on a roof - why would you not do it?
Despite his smoking, drinking and sarcasm problems, Thomas makes friends easily. He is able to relate to people easily and form unbreakable friendship bonds. He is talkative, and relaxed about most things. He's an athletic soul, and spends a lot of his time running, jogging and swimming. He takes training to the maximum level too, and spends a lot of time at the gym doing work outs. Because of Thomas's smoking problem however, he often finds himself out of breath. He's trying to quit... After the next one... Maybe.
Thomas is also a brilliant actor, one who is currently employed by a different country's government to take down the members of Dusk. Dusk has a traitor in their midst. Thomas is planning to take down members one by one until the whole of Dusk is out of commission.
