Emma nodded, walking out with jack and thanking him for holding the door open for her. She looked up over the buildings at the bright stars, surprised that there were so many out that night.
"It's beautiful. The brightest I've seen the sky since I came here," she said, looking around for where jack had parked his car. It shouldn't be too hard to spot, but it was pretty dark and searching for a black car at night wasn't all that easy.

I sit on the edge of my bed. I yawn and stretch out. The sun was blazing through the window. It was weird. I dont know why. I guess i was used to the grey sky. And not blue. I look around the hotel room. It was nice to be in a quality hotel. I stand up.

"If you're so eager to get rid of me, then sure. Thanks for dinner, it was great," she said, somewhat disappointed that she hadn't had more time to get to hang out with him. He was fun to be around, and about her only friend out of their little group of magicians besides Mercedes. She smiled as she finally spotted the car, pointing it out to jack quickly.
