Poochyena and Ralts...

Being found early in the game, they aren't very worth it. You should wait for better pokémon.

In Pokémon Emerald, would a Poochyena or a Ralts be worth training up?

I'm playing Pokemon Emerald atm. xD Join-me in muh sig

I had a Poochyena in my team when I played Emerald, I like them, but I don't really like Ralts (no particular reason).
I used to be online a lot here, but I became bored of this site and I don't like some of the rules here.
Now I'm pretty busy as well. You can still try to message me though, I might be online again now and then : )

Low-level Ralts can be a pain to train, only knowing Growl, but I think Gardevoir can be worth it, at least early on.

I've read up about Poochyena and everyone says that they are "beasts" when they get to level 30 as Mightyena.
On top of that I ragequit'ed with Ralts because it only had growl. I'm not up for switching in and out. :/

No they aren't. I've tried it myself, they aren't very good. They do have awesome looks, but their stats are horrible. Piece of advice from Smogon University, where I spend my days.

I love Serperior so much.

I just caught Virizion, so now I have Cobalion and Virizion. Honor and Justice, respectively. Terrakion will be Courage and if I can get Keldeo, he'll be Pride.

Now I'm levelling all my Pokemon up to level 48 for Drayden. Gotta love my Haxorus. <3

Overall, Gardevoir seems to have a higher base stat total than Mightyena, but Might's more Physical while Gard's more Special. But, I can understand not liking the bait-and-switch training method. I got a Gyaridos pre-Cerulean city back in Firered that way, but it definitely took a while.

I know. c:
I'm going to get something else as a special-attacker. Perhaps an Abra to train up to Alakazam but Alakazam doesn't have as much SP.Def stats as Gardevoir. So maybe I'll train up a Ralts later. Maybe once I get the Exp.Share it'd be easier but Gardevoir doesn't have all that many moves to learn as it levels up so I'd be relying on TMs. -Shrugs- We'll see.

Edit;
I'm considering Taillow as well because of it's nice ability (Guts) that doubles attack power it might be a nice sweeper but I don't really want to be carrying around 4 pokémon from the starting area.

Is it just me, or does Saying Goodbye sound a tiny bit like Don't Ever Forget... from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky?

Greetings, citizens of the internet! You can call me Nitro Indigo, and I want to be identified by what I do, not what I am. I like Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda, Klonoa, among other things. I also have a YouTube channel.

My Emerald team consists of Sceptile, Linoone, Swellow, Ludicolo, Manectric, Mightyena (and Rayquaza), which I choose because I came to like them.
