[The Lost soul]

A balance, does not always mean both sides are equal. It also doesn't mean that only 2 sides exist. We think of things as what we want to believe. We feel what we subconsciously want to feel. The world is not as easily revealed, as the truth is hidden well. It always is, and always will be.

Do you... ever notice that you have more then 2 options and ideas, floating about? That there is no cleanly good, or bluntly evil choice to make? It's all blurred, smeared together with a swift swipe of the hand of destiny. You've heard the talk of Evil and Good before, the way people put it, it should be easy... but reality is far from what they teach. The planet of Earth.... as far as humans know, they are alone, but fantasize of what may lay beyond their reach. Earth is full of a semi-intelligent species. Barely resembling much more then a primate, these people are over-populating the planet like ver-uh.... nevermind. These humans, are the very essence of the fighting between this balance. They fuel one side more then the other... but let's admit. No one is perfect. No one at all..... perfection is non-existent. Now... let's continue down our little story, shall we?

The two beings you see in the picture shown, are Aril, and Lira. Yes... their names are the same backwards. Roughly, they are opposites.... sort of. As I said before, balance does not mean both sides are equal, but it means they are distributed, as to keep each other in check. The white one is Aril. She appears as a short haired feline, no breed specific class, with icy blue eyes. Innocent to the eyes.... but that white fur is stained with blood, and those eyes are not as sweet as they appear. She is.... well, humans describe it as 'insane'. Insanity is not a disability... atleast not in her case. With a vicious grin, and no care for the Balance, she is often putting it out of wack, really. She is constantly trying to throw off the circle so she dominates. Aril is... as humans would say, Evil. She deceives the world, and everyone around her with pristine decisions of utmost planning. Aril is a master planner, and plans out every year. She is OCD and often has fits of pacing, or twitching when her plan doesn't go right.

Finally, we bring your attention to Lira. That black, long-furred feline. Those claws? Yes, aren't they just beautiful? Oh! You're confused because she is the one with the blood and claws, and animosity? Well, that's the point. Lira is also, by human terms, 'insane'. She lives by instinct, doing things that must be done. She sees things around her, and live a life of pain and misery. She is hated by the world, and often goes through bouts of depression, and only pulls through because she knows that it was never about her. She doesn't have a single friend in the world, and operates all alone. She is larger then Aril, smarter, stronger, faster.... but Lira is alone. Numbers can drown even the must vibrant flames.The......the worst part about Lira, is one that holds to her. Ever hear that monsters aren't real? Well, I hope you get to sleep peacefully tonight... because it's a lie. Lira has to deal with a curse. She is not always in control, because a curse that taxes on all our lives, is Rage. Rage is something that give you more strength then you really have. It can fuel you, make you speak up, or quiet down. Rage is powerful.... and it is a raw energy. Rage is more then hatred.... rage is more then annoyance.... it is more then any other force, except love. No, not love the way the humans put it... True Love. The love that God has for his people. The kind of love, that will make you be indebted to do anything, and everything to make another happy, healthy, alive. When Lira gets enraged, she gets:
heavy breathing
racing heart rate
dilated pupils
twitching
Lightheadedness
These small things are not normal for her... and when it happens, you better run. She has, what is called the Blood Lust. She goes on a rampage, feasting on the meat and flesh of any being present. A Perfect curse, to make everyone believe you are a monster....

That's pretty much the basics of the picture's meaning. Simple enough...

Critique is needed. I know the fur isn't good, and the stars look like trash, and the galaxy is trash.... that and Aril looks horrible.
