Snow believe one hundred percent that the ice stallion was harmless. Many ponies within the town feared it, even more so the tourists. They would hold night watches if it was spotted, and rumours were spread about it. That it was a vengeful spirit, or a creature of the elements possessed to send them away. That it led foals away into the snow never to be seen again. Snow never listened. He had seen the ice stallion, he argued, and come to no harm. Whatever it was, it was not evil. It was not bad.
Snow believe one hundred percent the ice stallion was harmless. Right up until a young filly called Frosted Rose was seen walking through town with it at midnight as a snowstorm began, and when morning came with the end of the storm, both were gone.
Then he was less sure. The village began to organise a hunt. They wanted Rose. Or revenge. Preferably both.

Snow may have just been a city boy to the others of the village, but he was well liked. He wasn't willing to hunt it down. Not until he knew the truth. Calling upon what few favours he was owed and friends he had left he put together the best team he could manage, with the promise he would track the ice stallion and find out the truth. He was given one month before the hunters started searching. One month to track a creature that disappeared as easily as frost in the sun.
Yet everything against him only made Snow more determined. He would find the ice stallion.
Somehow.

and i be thinked that cloud ponys never actually walk on the ground :3 it might seem like it but they are actually floating just above the grass and moving slowly their feet to make the illusion they walk
