- - - - - -his brow had creased in confusion when he saw the sleeping hufflepuff, especially since he was being watched by drew. drew didn't reply to his greeting though - nor did it disturb clark - and it was only when wesley arrived that the crease went. the other boy may have been in hufflepuff but george considered him as one of his best friends.
- - - - - -"morning wes'. drew was here first." he held his hands up in joking defence, greeting wesley with a grin. "i came down from the common room and just found him watching clark. bit creepy if you ask me." he was teasing his fellow house mate as alex came walking past, loud and annoying as ever. she was in his house, in his sister's year though, and whilst they had only spoken a few times he didn't really like her. she was too extroverted and loud for his taste; sure he and his friends could be loud and mess around, a lot, but they didn't constantly barge in. which was what he had seen her doing quite a lot. usually he just stayed out of her way. george watched as she flicked the sleeping boy on the head and told him to wake up before smiling at george - he returned the smile, a bit taken aback - and then skipping off again. george watched her go for a moment before returning to the group of males.
- - - - - -"a-and sleeping beauty awakes." george commented, grinning as clark looked around him drowsily and realization dawned on his face. "drew would be the best one to answer that, though i'd say about ten minutes or so." he shrugged, answering casually and slipping his hands into his pockets.
- - - - - -when welsey mentioned breakfast he looked up from scuffing his feet and wondered if asking to join them would be intruding. they were both hufflepuffs so they would be sitting at their own house table and whilst there were no rules as to sitting in the great hall, that didn't mean there weren't certain prejudices between the houses. though the smallest rift was probably between hufflepuff and the other houses - they were more lenient and laid-back then the others - and the biggest was between slytherin and the other three. george couldn't really blame them though, slytherin was mainly a bunch of b*stards.

he suddenly realized that another figure was sitting beside elle, and he suddenly felt his hands grow hot on the inside of his jeans, so he removed them quickly as if hey were on fire. luke was actually pretty good at telling how people to react to things and what they might be thinking, and he noticed the look on elle's face. offense and a bubble of apologies came to mind at Lucas's defense but he shrugged it off. so what if he hadn't seen Robbie the very second that he came up? there wasn't really any need for elle to get defensive about it. heaving an inward sigh, luke shifted his feet and sent an apologetic look towards Robbie that said, okay, I may seem like a jerk at times, but I didn't see you. i'm really sorry!
luke felt a flash of offense and apology send across his face and instantly recovered, straightening and glancing between the two girls. he saw elle look at his outfit and looked taken aback. He smiled at elle, like an explaining look. "yeah, uh, sorry. I usually wear this in the morning when I take...walks here. I change into my robes afterwards. To tell the truth, I find my robes uncomfortable for walks," even though he didn't like as though he had to explain to her, he just felt like clearing it up. he then suddenly thought of alex. one of his best friends, even though luke didn't necessarily have a ton of friends. everyone seemed to think she was annoying, when usually she backed away from people. she didn't actually talk that much, but she definitely stood up for her friends. the guys steered clear of her, but why? alex didn't have anything wrong with her. she was quieter, friendly, fun, outgoing, but fierce at the same time.
he sighed and leaned against the wall, suddenly feeling tired for some reason. "studying? for what? is there something I'm missing?" he said light-heartedly.

even though a small crowd of people had surrounded along the window sill, drew paid no attention. as time passed, he had no idea that the others were talking until clark had woken up from alex. he wasn't very fond of the younger gryffindor but he wasn't fond of most people. drew shook his head and regained focus once more. he turned his head 90' degrees to check his surrounding to find 3 others around him.

his head turning back, drew once more looked at clark. by his expression, he was deffinately embarassed. his checks started to get a hint of pink. after a few moments of ,again spacing out, drew shrugged and looked up, thinking about how much times has past.
"eight, probably ten mintues at the most" he replied.
it first struck him after he had replied to clark that he was staring at him for nearly ten mintues. a small grin apeared on his face while he thought about what he had done. it wasn't like him to stare at people, and now he was staring at people who were sleeping.
now i'm going to appear like a gay, man-stalker, just wonderful he thought, amused.

xxxxxOh the trouble he could cause. Oh the trouble they could cause. Kacer's mind was full of nothing but what they could possibly do as a house to cause a mess of worry and panic throughout Hogwarts. He'd always been a mastermind when it came to the planning of the evil mishaps. Believe it or not he did like causing problems, it made things around school a whole hell of a lot more interesting. Without it they were simply digging into ruts, and those weren't any fun at all. The brunette had only just woken up from slumber as the promise of food called his name. Of course he wasn't about to go down in his sleepwear, what little he had. Nipping at his feet eagerly was a nearly unseen black rabbit, Gemini, a pet in which he'd brought with on his trip to the magical school. "I swear you only like me because I give you attention," Kace muttered as he rubbed the back of her ears gently. In a rather dazed manner he walked to his trunk and opened it, cringing a bit as it squeaked. It didn't take the boy long to change into everyday attire, pulling a pair of silver Aviators on over his eyes only to press them up to where they rested on top of his soft brown locks. A couple circles in front of the mirror assured him that he hadn't forgot anything, not even his team spirit. Oh joy.
xxxxxThe trip to the Great Hall was a short one, and a quiet one at that too. A couple of nods and 'good mornings' to those whom he knew to be friends. His group of friends really didn't branch out too much, other than to those who were inside Slytherin. It was just out of habit though, because he'd learned not to trust anyone so easily anymore. He never told a single soul what had caused that, and he didn't intend to any time soon either.
xxxxxOut of the corner of his eye that he spotted some people he could call decent friends. Rooney, Annie, Darragh, Sarah, and Oscar among others that surrounded them. It was on that trek over to the familiar table that he ran into another student, a brunette female clad in flamboyant clothing that possessed the color red. A Gryffindor member, no doubt. Aspen specifically. It had been his fault completely, but would he admit it? Never. He carried to much pride for that. It wasn't a big collision, not anything that caused him to fall anyway. She on the other hand did suffer a small tumble, but she'd live.
xxxxx"I sure hope you weren't up to no good without me, I'd be hurt," Kacer spoke sarcastically as he took a seat next to Darragh. His amber eyes wandered, watching as some ate and others just talked. He himself wasn't all too hungry after having a large dinner the previous night. Absentmindedly he drummed his fingers on the table, somewhat waiting for a response from someone. In the meantime he was pondering over the events for the day, amounting to nothing if he remembered correctly. Of course he was always forgetting things, so that didn't say much.
