Shade woke up to a shout. " What's wrong?" he asks.

Kovu didn't reply.

" Please tell me Kovu." he said softly.

"LAVENDER!!" He squirms free, "I am NOT a baby!!"

"I know but that wolf... He could be anywhere!" she says worridly.

Kovu growls and lays down, with a slight whimper.


Crush snarls, and turns away padding off.

She sees Shade. "Oh hello, Shade. I didn't see you there." she says to him and licks his snout.

He licks her on the cheek. "Hello." he says with a smile.

"I'm going to go to the den." she says. She picks up Kovu and runs to the camp and into the den. She licks Kovu and says, "Get some rest. You need it. I'll ask if you will be able to b an apprentince." she smiles at him.
