Bree stayed quiet, looking at Anlach, sighing softly. "You'll see soon enough. " she told the excitable Anlach, and she gave the doe a soft smile. Right now, she was looking forward to seeing Ahiga in the rut, but if he wasn't there, that was fine too. He was a little young, though, which made her second guess. He had also given up, so she knew he wasn't all that stubborn. Which was a pity, but Bree didn't mind.

Then, there was Iso. The stag was strong and powerful, not having the young youthful energy of Ahiga, but power and confidence was in every movement that he made. He represented peace, stability, and she knew he wanted the same, so that was out. Bree wasn't very loyal, not to stags, anyway. She wanted the strong, the smart, the stubborn, and truly enough, if she found one better, she would go to them. She wasn't sacrificing the freedom of chosing whom she thought was best, not for a male that she only saw once every year for the breeding season. So loyalty, was something she couldn't give. Though the male was tempting, how loyal and truthful he was kind of put Bree off, and he seemed to know that, so he didn't come close. Thank goodness. Bree grazed quietly, the lead hind looking out for more dangers, and more possible candidates for her mate.

Iso grazed quietly beside Ahiga, before snorting to catch the younger stag's attention. "Who do you want?" He asked curiously, already having a few he was considering in his head. He wanted Hazel, perhaps Glory, that was what he knew so far. He hadn't yet been too close with the hind herd, so he did not know the others well enough to want them, but those two had caught his eye, and he was interested. Ayala and Anlach seemed nice too, Anlach cheerful and full off life. Ayala was pretty quiet as well, but he didn't know her at all, so he couldn't decide. He stared at them quietly, thinking.

Glory shuffled around restlessly, pausing to graze every few seconds. She looked up and noticed Iso watching them, so she nodding in greeting. Iso was a fine young stag who would make a good mate. The doe plucked some more grass blades out and chewed thoughtfully.

Hazel bounded after Ayala, into the clearing.
