"Yeah. It'll just be you and me kiddo." I opened my mouth to say something else but it snapped shut with an audible 'pop'. With a frightened mewl I leapt from the branch, taking to the skies to escape the thing I feared most. How could he play with those things?! Those legs and the eyes and the hair?! Psh! I'd rather go to hell than be locked in a room with a spider.

Hiro grinned and chuckled, "Yeah," he muttered. By the time he looked up at the source of the branch shaking she was gone. He gently set the spider down before it could bite him--they weren't poisonous or anything but still, unnecessary pain-- and stood on the branch briefly before taking off behind her.

Storm's grin grew wider across his face as Ren dropped to the ground. "Nope! This is payback!" He said, referring to tormenting him when they first met. He pinned him and his wings down and continues to tickle him with the devious grin.

I flew straight up, my wings outlined with gold from the sunset that painted the sky in shades of red, orange, gold and pink. One day I wanted to get a picture of me flying with the sunset behind me. No doubt it would look cool. Giggling softly I found myself twirling through the air randomly even as I caught a glimpse of red that could only be Hiro's wings. I probably looked like a childish fool twirling through the air the way I was, but no one was going to stop me anytime soon. Nothing but the night sky would bring me to the ground tonight and even then I'd stay for just a moment before leaving again. That was alright though because it was for the best.

Ren's giggles bubbled up, and he couldn't force them down and put on a straight face. good thing Jinx wasn't here, she'd be teasing him forever. He tried to twist, but he found his wings being pinned down. Ren desperately tried to push on Storm's chest to fling him off, but nope, puppy had him stuck. His sides where aching, and his laughter didn't stop. He tried to put on an angry expression, but his grin wouldn't go away. "stahp! haha, ah, puppy, it hurts!" Ren managed, trying to shove him off by his shoulders.

Hiro's smirk didn't leave his face when Jinx started swooping around and he thought, Oh no, that is a game you do not want to start. No matter how timid and antisocial he may seem, he was always up for showing off. He rose higher in the air then hovered for a moment, and then folded his wings in and front flipped, barreling down toward the ground like a roller pigeon. The wind beneath his wings propelled him faster as he snapped open his wings gracefully, if not a little painfully, but it was nothing he couldn't handle. He soared back up into the sky, getting underneath Jinx.

"Hiro, don't you dare overexert yourself. You know we've got a long flight ahead of us. In fact, we should rest as much as possible for the next couple of hours." I made sure to keep my tone stern just in case he wanted to argue with me. After giving him my 'do as I say or be cuddled to death' look I made a slow descent to the ground landing soundlessly and folding my wings.

Hiro frowned and looked up at her, "I wasn't." He totally didn't buy the strict mom voice, but that look she'd given him silenced him. Slowly, he followed after her, landing a solid ten seconds after her just as silent as she had been.

I glanced up at the sky watching as the beginnings of night began to peek through the golden light cast by the sunset. We would be gone tonight and I wasn't sure if I'd ever seen any of the flock again. The thought almost made me want to stay even longer although that would only result in me staying forever or at least for another week.
